FOUND MY SOLE MATE … Today, I found more than my first pair of pointe shoes, I stepped into a dream I’ve been working toward for years.

Every class, every rehearsal, every correction, and every sacrifice has led to this moment. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has believed in me and poured into my journey.

As a proud Brown Girls Do Ballet Ambassador, I’m honored to represent and remind young Black dancers that we belong in every studio, on every stage, and en pointe. Representation matters, and I’m excited to continue dancing with purpose.

Here’s to new beginnings, big dreams, and the next chapter of my ballet journey 🩰✨

August is Black Philanthropy Month!
This month is about recognizing, celebrating, and investing in Black-led change. As a Brown Girls Do Ballet Ambassador, I’m proud to be part of a community that creates space, opportunity, and representation for Black and Brown dancers like me.
.
.
.
And on Give 8/28, I’m asking you to help me give back and support the mission of Brown Girls Do Ballet!

Your support helps create opportunities for young dancers to learn, grow, connect, and see themselves represented in ballet. Every gift and share makes a difference!
Let’s celebrate Black excellence by investing in the next generation.

MoBBallet Symposium wasn’t just about ballet🧑🏾‍🩰✨This experience gave me so much more than dance training. I gained new friendships, learned from incredible artists and mentors, connected with other Brown girls who understand the beauty of seeing yourself represented, and was reminded that there is a place for me in every room I’m brave enough to enter.

I’m leaving this experience more inspired, more confident, and even more grateful for the journey God is writing for me.

Thank you to everyone who poured into me, encouraged me, challenged me, and helped make this experience so special. And thank you to the Brown Girls Do Ballet community for continuing to create spaces where girls like me can see themselves, dream bigger, and know that we belong.

This is only the beginning.
Brown girls belong on every stage.
