earth day today ::::::: celebrate our stunning home, planet e every day. one of the intentions behind the pondcast was to promote wetland conservation & shed some light on the fascinating creatures that share the environment with us.

some other things to do this earth day… walk/bike/ttc! check out the library! farmers market! shop local. support artists & friends. create instead of consuming. boycott the big corps. consider bartering over cash. reduce, reuse, upcycle, thrift. eat more plants. eat less animals. get out in nature (stay on the path!) experience natural beauty and the calming effect it has on our nervous system. we’re all connected ~ bugs, amphibians, birdies, mammals. let’s keep the ecosystems in balance and those that don’t care out of positions of power! there is no planet b… <333

Come celebrate the release of Water is a Shifting Mirror and ring in my birthday on March 13 at Allan Gardens Children’s Conservatory! I wrote this album in the cold spring months and so it feels especially right to share this work right before the solstice. Many of the field recordings from the album were taken in March - the most death coded month but always with the hope of something new - where the stillness of frozen waters transform into the rushing onslaught of melting snow. What a perfect time to hold, experience, and release.

Honoured to have 2 of my faves play: @_emisiv - a huge influence to me - and @hi_hiroki_ to close out the night and get us shaking. @rafwilcot on guitar for my live set. Sure to be a very special one.

Grateful to @foallangardens for having me and feel very lucky that I get to collaborate with them in so many ways. Go support their petition for expansion! ⚠️ On January 31st, amidst a deluge of international bookings hitting the city from every direction, we want to remind you that you can always take refuge at the Muster Point, where Toronto locals go hard and go late.

Alongside our crews, we’re excited to be joined by cherished Toronto staples, Ciel and Emissive, as well as a special guest from Montreal, ColdChainLogistics. Expect an electric night of house, techno, bass and dubstep that will keep you moving until 5am.

In keeping with the DIY spirit of our first renegades, we’ll be transforming the space with our own hands to create an ethereal atmosphere and hidden surprises. Don’t sleep.
