Sian and I both moved to Berlin in the summer of 2017 which lead to us meeting in Panorama Bar toilets later that year. That meeting (although we thought each other was boring the first time around) blossomed into a friendship soundtracked by Italorama Bar Fridays and Sunday evening Cocktail D’amores. If there was one duo that was everywhere we danced it was Castro and Nemo, @castro_sound_metaphors @soundmetaphors they have been fundamental not only to Sian and I’s friendship but anyone who’s spent any period of time in Berlin over the past decade. Theres a 2019 Cosmic Hole of them playing Running up that Hill to a Sunday night crowd of 20 people including us engraved on our brains.
To make that transfer from one side of the booth to the other was down to these two’s support so we’re so grateful to the pair of you, thank you! 🥹
To play in a club that meant so much to Sian and I this Friday was surreal, with Panorama Bar full to the brim from the first minutes we knew it was going to be special. The bit that really got us was seeing the front few rows packed with our friends nearest and dearest, both old and new. If there’s one thing we both know about Berlin is the music brings you here but it’s the people you meet along the way that makes it permanent. You all mean the world to the pair of us.

Pem and Mr. Sian's musical alliance was born and raised on the dance floor. Finding a kinship across the Cocktail D’Amore and Italorama Bar parties, their partnership has blossomed over the years—from dancers to the other side of the booth.
Hailing from the UK, the duo have an ear for disco-lined nostalgia paired with EBM, acid, house, and new wave. A love of digging through old and new sounds means you'll never find them confined to just one genre—but if one thing is certain, it will always be fun. More friends than DJ partners, the duo are set on bringing their unmistakable sense of joy to every dance floor they happen upon.
In doing so, they're increasingly making their mark on Berlin's club scene, appearing on intimate lineups alongside Marcel Dettmann and Traxx, as well as performing in Berlin institutions such as Club OST, Renate, and Zur Klappe. taken in Berghain / Panorama Bar by @_emma_isabella
