 Der Grrrls* Club lädt zum letzten Rave des Jahres – diesmal im SUb Graz, der schönsten Hütte der Stadt. 🪩

Mit dabei ist diesmal @_emmahelena als Special Guest – wir freuen uns sehr, unseren Gast aus Innsbruck bei uns willkommen zu heißen!

It’s time for another @subfmradio show. It’s episode #211 and this Thursday the amazing @_emmahelena from Innsbruck is joining me! 
Always impressed by her selection I thought its time to invite her to the show. With a wide sonic palette that is as dynamic as it is boundless, her style reflects a deep passion for underground electronic music and its culture. Rooted in techno, her sets are a bold blend of global sounds that break free from any genre and tempo limits. This approach is also reflected by her activities as part of @vivid.tapes, a collective and event series building (musical) bridges within the Innsbruck music community. Plus, as a dedicated advocate for feminist values she is part of the @eat_network, a FLINTA* DJ network also based in Innsbruck.

Her mix in hour two is focusing on footwork and its hybrids featuring tracks by @addisongroove, @carre__carre, @djswisha , @sonidoberzerk , @deejayearl and many more.

I’ll do the usual thing in hour one with a preview of my new album and new bits from @al_wootton , @pugilistmusic & @djtamen , @jon1st , @tactual.rec , @om_unit , @tsuyoshidayzero , @sleepsang and a bunch of others.

For tonight’s edition of our @radio80000 show, we’re easing back into the groove with a dubby and deep techno selection by @kelburrt to kick things off.

In the second hour, we welcome the unstoppable @_emmahelena a true powerhouse of Austria’s underground scene. Starting her journey as a teenager deep in the world of club culture, she’s been setting dance floors ablaze ever since. Her mix for us moves fluidly through ambient, breaks, techno and jungle – always bold, always high-energy, and full of surprises. With a style that breaks free from conventional genre and tempo boundaries, Emma’s sets are all about sweat, movement, and cultivating a vibe that connects.

After a long break, we’re excited to invite you to our next night in the Arche on the 21st of June.

For this edition, we’re proud to welcome three artists from our extended circle:

@_emmahelena will return to the booth to share her latest selections.

@gru.naso, known for his deep genre crossing sets, will join is for the first time.

Rounding off the night is @lu.me____, whose diverse sound has become a staple at our events.

As always, expect a focused dancefloor, quality sound, and a space for a shared sonic journey.

1. If you could choose any B2B partner, who would it be and why?
That’s a tough one, but right now I’d say DJ Swisha. His blend of techno, house, jungle, jersey, and juke just hits different — big vibes and high energy. A B2B with him would be a dream come true.

2. What’s your approach when you prepare a mix/set and how do you know when it is truly finished?
I usually start by checking the lineup and my slot to get a feel for the crowd and the vibe I wanna bring. Then I dig through my collection, build playlists, and shape a flow that tells a story. Once I can see the full journey in my head and it all clicks, I’m good to go.

3. What comes to your mind if you compare the scene in Innsbruck with the one in Munich?
Munich’s got more variety for sure — from big-room techno to super niche stuff, which is dope. Innsbruck, though, has this genre-fluid energy that I really love. The scene from my perspective feels tight and very personal — everyone’s just in it for the music.
