This day a year ago, at about some minutes past 9am on Sunday morning, I received the most devastating call of my life… hello is this Chinyere’s brother? I said yes run to destiny homes bus stop your sister just had an accident . My hands immediately started sharking but a part of me held onto the fact it was a prank. I called her number right back someone picked and there was a heavy noise on the bar ground immediately I rushed down to the place…..It was a whole lot that morning . The first hospital she we took her to, rejected her reason that they can’t handle the condition, they directed us to the second hospital they rejected her as well…i started praying and held onto God . Then we proceed to the third hospital. After checking her in, The doctor asked me who is she to me, I said to him that’s my elder sister. He looked at me and said your sister is dead. I was in denial because how can someone that told you me she was going to work for a training and within how few minutes everything is happening so fast. Gosh! I screamed with tears 😭 “God you failed me” you have taken my only sister Immediately I grabbed her starting shouting her name Chinyere wake up!! Our Mum will be heartbroken 💔 if she hears this…please wherever you’re come back!…I was confused, I have to call my my uncle and my cousins they all came to the hospital, her colleagues was there too. Everyone was shocked! We have to go get a police report before depositing her body at the morgue. I still had hope of Chinyere’s resurrection not until Monday morning 19th of May 2025(my birthday) I’m to take her body to my hometown for burial 🪦 I had goosebumps of the entire world on my arms.. I cried from Lagos down to my hometown inside an ambulance 🚑 with her body besides me…Hmmmmmmm…. I will continue with this story has my heart is seriously palpitating at this point and my eyes super cloudy.. Chinyere Christiana Vivian, Nwankwo. Keep resting my dearest sister . God is taking care of us and our mummy is doing fine ..A lot has happened since you left… “ma na yadiba..” Ndi mmadu di egwu!! ( in your voice).It hasn’t been easy but God has been faithful..
