‘Sanctuary’ Our next exhibition, will open this Friday, May 15th from 5-8pm.

Sanctuary is a showing tof personal work, in resistance to US immigration enforcement by the current administration. A fundraiser for Legal Support & Aid of undocumented folx in the bay. Proceeds from artwork will be donated to OEA Rapid Response Legal Fund, Centro Legal De La Raza, and La Raza Centro Legal SF.

Thank you to
@oea_rapidresponse @centro_legaldelaraza and @larazacentrolegalsf for your blessing and the work that you do.

From La Raza Centro:
La Raza Centro Legal, San Francisco is a legacy organization, started in the Mission District of San Francisco by law students during the height of both the Civil Rights and Chicano/Latino liberation movements in the Bay Area. We work to advance civil and human rights and ensure access to justice, especially for peoples most impacted by historical discrimination and violence. We provide legal services in four areas: affirmative immigration, immigration removal defense, workers’ rights, and elder & disability law. LRCL is proud to have highly skilled and culturally competent staff, the vast majority of whom come from backgrounds that are similar or identical to those we serve and are thus able to understand and meet the unique needs of those communities. We are also proud to be a unionized workplace that fosters leadership and professional growth and acts as an incubator for young Latine professionals.

Waltz of a Little Bird

20 inch by 16 inch

Ink on Paper.

Named after this beautiful song. I tribute this piece to my dear Aunt who passed on to heaven this morning, whom I owe my spirit too. I had so many feelings while working on this for the past month, wrestling the notion of grief of cancer diagnosis. Pouring thoughts into the winding tendrils. A Song bird that flys the highest and sings the sweetest always lays to rest sometime.

Protection Tiles
18x24 Pastel & Pencil

My First finished peice of the new year, Im currently obsessed with Tile-like repeating patterns, intricate ones though. They cover & protect spaces, walls, roofing, floors, they furl & tangle & weave. I find comfort in their winding halls, yet can hide, like this Rabbit, inside my own patterns, to nourish myself & brace for what ever thicket i must climb through next.
Will u create new patterns soon? taken in Oakland, California by @_enchanted_item

“Inscription of the Heart” My new Illustrated Zine, the feelings from 2025 packed in a bundle and stapled interwoven. A year ago today, I quit smoking cannabis and tobacco, as many know since i cant help but mention it, and Im proud i did it. I have been bound by patterns that weave and confuse, Im yearning for an intentional interlocking and holding, hope for each person, care & safety, patience & grace. I look forward to sharing this next year with you all, in space & in breath, on this wretched beautiful earth. by @_enchanted_item

3 Arches lead into an earthen home, bound and enshrined by ornamental, gnarled, & growing filagree. It’s tendrils knotted to keep the 3 keystones secure and instructed. The resonance of a hidden forested shelter is felt through the bright windows. by @_enchanted_item
