Big thank you to everyone who made this track possible. 🙏 This track has been in the works for over a year and a half and I remember a certain point in time where I thought this song would never see the light of day but luckily with the help of @_ericmark and @the_dragon_in_the.kitchen I was finally able to finish this track. This track means a lot to me because I have never spent so much time and effort on a single song and after countless demos it’s finally here. Make a free LFO tool using Ableton’s Shaper modulator and Utility plugin 🎚️

LFO tool is a plugin by Xfer Records that is widely used for simple quarter note volume modulation to create a more precise sidechain effect. You can recreate the same effect using two of Ableton’s stock plugins:

1. Add a Utility plugin to the track (Audio Effects>Utility)
2. Add a Shaper modulator to the track (Modulators>Shaper)
3. Create a sidechain shape in the Shaper’s envelope window, set the beat sync to 1/4 note
4. Set Utility Gain to -♾️
5. On the Shaper plugin, click “Map” and then click the Gain knob on the Utility plugin
6. Adjust Shaper modulation curve to taste, turn off “Snap” for more precise adjustments 👌
