happy 4th birthday to the lash sanc (orrr if you’re an og, angel eyes lash co) ꕥ

genuinely my most favourite 4 years yet, filled with a literal abundance of love, silliness, core mems & SAURRR much growth. such a happy grateful girly looking back through everything over the last 4 years. the sweaty pits when i first launched my business were worth it lmao. forever grateful for everything that led me to be here 🤍✨🌙

thank you for being with me on this cray cray but WONDERFFFULLLLL lil journey!! i get so emotional (true pisces nature) about my biz birthdays because it’s been such a life changing journey & has taught me so much about myself, and defs healed something in me along the way. none of this would exist without you & the endless love and support from you cuties. thank you for being here with me.
my heart loves you guys so so very much 🤍

ps. did you watch till the end? my intuition is telling me we are about to enter the biggest chapter yet. can’t wait to show you 🌙

life is feeling yellow again, yippeeeee 🌟 by @_erinswan

forever grateful that the trust & connection i have with myself and my body guided me to answers despite being pushed aside the entire time. no matter how long and how gruelling it was to get there. the past 10 years have been the fight of my life for someone to look at me like i wasn’t invisible. to trust that i was feeling what i was and to advocate for me. so many doctors who didn’t listen, so many specialists that misdiagnosed me, so many dietary changes, so many people that made it out to be less than what it was and minimised me. being told it was just anxiety just made me feel responsible for my own suffering.

i’m angry for 15 year old me who was terrified of going out to eat with her friends because all she could stomach were a couple of hot chips

i’m sad for 16 year old me that stressed myself into a different chronic illness trying to manage this ‘imaginary’ one

i’m angry for 17 year old me who slept her way through year 12 and had not a single ounce of support from her school

i’m angry for 19 year old me who had to decline going to clubs or festivals with her friends, because she couldn’t stand for longer than 1-2 hours because of the pain (that took 6+ days in bed to recover from)

i’m upset for 21 year old me who chose outfits based on how much swelling and bloating they’d hide, not what she actually wanted to wear

i’m angry for 23 year old me who was repeatedly told discomfort & pain was apart of being a woman, so she listened and pushed herself into a year of burnout trying to pretend it wasn’t there, because what was the other option?

and now i’m holding 24 year old me’s hand who has so many dreams and aspirations but is processing the actual reason why her body hasn’t been able to keep up with them

but mostly, i’m hurting for 15 year old me who had no idea how difficult it would be to be taken seriously. she deserved so much better, so many women do. i know im not the first person to go through this, but it hurts me knowing i won’t be the last.

but, it’s just anxiety.
