The final scores were computed based on the following criteria:

We were told democracy would sound like freedom,
feel like dignity, and look like opportunity.

Instead, for many, it has sounded like silence,
felt like endurance, and looked like survival.

In a nation where dreams are often interrupted by uncertainty, where many travel roads they no longer feel safe on, and where tomorrow can feel as fragile as hope itself, the promise of democracy remains a work in progress.

Yet in the midst of disappointment, the Nigerian spirit remains undefeated.

We are the people who laugh through hardship,
create through limitation, and hope through uncertainty.

Perhaps that hope is our greatest act of patriotism.
