🥈2nd place PCA FT for @_ethangym in a stacked line up

Honestly couldn’t be more proud of this guy. The package he brought to stage is a true reflection of the effort he put in throughout this prep. I can’t think of a single day where he wasn’t on the money and ticking boxes.

Ready to go a couple weeks out, with some room to adjust and go through some peak week protocols early, we wanted to be as confident as possible heading into his show, and honestly spending show day with Ethan I really saw this play out. There was some nerves of course, but we were also absolutely buzzing to get up there and showcase his hard work, soak in the experience and enjoy it.

A work ethic I’ve not seen very many people able to match, pure focus on just doing what’s needed to get where we wanted to be. Then plenty calls to keep his head screwed on and limit the over thinking 👀😂

It’s been an absolute pleasure coaching him through this journey, one that we both feel is really just getting started.

Extremely buzzing with yesterdays performance at the @pca_official FT4.

2nd place and an invite to the British finals in the biggest junior line up of the season so far.

My time on stage lit a serious fire, I loved every second of it and truly felt like I belonged up there.

I can’t thank @katie.mcanerney enough for putting up with me over the last 25 weeks, keeping me sane and dealing with my dramatic tiredness. I genuinely wouldn’t have succeeded without her. Now onto a controlled reverse to make sure we can enjoy the holiday in good nick. Reckon after sacrificing half a year for me to pursue this goal she deserves my 100% focus.

Also be remiss if I didn’t thank @coach.keaton for guiding me through this whole process. Keeping me in check the entire time and making sure that I didn’t overthink it. He took on full responsibility and had me simply follow the plan. Turns out if you do that you succeed 👀 Thanks for making the trip all the way down to keep me right on show day. (I was an overthinking mess 🤣)

Thanks to @maccamorrice_ for literally teaching me how to pose. Before he came in I had literally no ability to hold a pose and after 25 weeks of graft I’d argue I was the best poser on stage in my class. So if you compete or are considering it hit him up to look like you belong in the division.

Thanks to the family for coming all the way down to Derby to support me in the biggest decision i’ve ever made. Definitely made the winter steps worth it to have them there with me to celebrate.

Really liked this look, was still pretty full, but was starting to see details I’ve never had before. Mini cut in progress at the moment so wouldn’t mind getting close to this kind of condition before we start the next push up. by @_ethangym

2025 - the best year of my life so far.

This is the year that I finally accomplished so dreams, goals and ambitions.
I competed for the first time, taking home 🥈
The year I proposed to my better half @katie.mcanerney
The year we bought our first home, way before we ever expected to and way better than we had ever dreamed.
And we also got a little traveling in there too ✈️

I don’t know how I can beat this year but I’ll do my best. Here’s to 2026 🍾 by @_ethangym

Long overdue physique update.

13/14ish weeks post show, 2 holidays, a wedding an engagement and a house purchase later were around 10ish Kg up from my lowest of prep.

Not the perfect reverse by any means with life getting in the way but that’s part of the process and something to learn from next time. Currently a few weeks into the gaining phase but things have really started to kick off the last couple of weeks since being home, with a new split and more food.

Plan of action is to push all variables up until the new year, assess body composition and more than likely enter a short tidy up before pushing up again. Really looking to repeat this process (but with less of a need to tidy) throughout the entirety of next year to gain as mush size as possible before stepping on stage again early 2027.

Also working on posing as much as possible post sessions to make sure I don’t lose that skill. Definitely harder posing with more weight on the frame but not a bad challenge to have. taken in TFOld by @_ethangym
