I won't be shutting up about "i'm donut ?" until we get this in the Bay Area 😭 actually the best donuts ever — imagine a mochi donut and chinese donut (youtiao) had a baby, so it's chewy and soft but fluffy and airy.......

Tokyo photodump!
i think this was my favorite of all trips i've taken in my life...........

we managed to squeeze alllll the best things in the world into this week 🥰 reunited with the best friend ofc, got to hang with way more friends than expected (for some reason everyone i know either moved to tokyo or happened to be in town too!?!)

food was insane. i've never had so much deliciousness in one week before 🥺 whether it was my favorite super affordable conveyer belt sushi that gives Comically Large portions, or 2-Michelin star sushi...

an onsen spa day, karaoke, trading card games, matcha, matcha again, even just enjoying the quality of convenience store food......

both the simple and extravagant experiences were fire ✨

also here's my list now of personal favorite Tokyo food spots:

- The Matcha Tokyo
- Sushi Katsu Midori (how so cheap yet so yummy)
- Gyukatsu Motomura
- Oyster Bar Wharf (i had zero expectations but these were like the best oysters ever?? crazy random find)
- Roast Beef Ohno
- Sushi Yu (high end omakase, very friendly chef)
- Imahan Honten Sukiyaki
- kukuku/999 (wagashi dessert and tea tasting) by @_evalasting

first time in NoMa after many work trips to Washington DC — it's my new favorite area of the city!!

very walkable and everywhere you're surrounded by vibrant art, trains, seafood, cafés, an interesting mix of modern & traditional, and the craziest dog park and antfarm-esque (??) playground you'll ever see

also a brick building FedEx that requires ID just to enter 🤷🏻‍♀️

it was a good trip! editing videos til 5-7 AM and then getting through the day fueled by matcha lattes 😁 taken in NoMa, Washington, D.C. by @_evalasting

short trip but we hit all my must-eat food in LA 🥰

- Anko (their bingsu is back, thank god!!!)

- Tea Master (my fav matcha soft serve in America)

- Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles

- KBBQ (first time at Hanu KBBQ but we all liked this place so much it's gonna become a regular 💅) by @_evalasting

✌️🎥 another Washington DC trip editing videos for a tearjerkingly inspiring event and eating good food!

we wanted to see how many times we could hit up Dolcezza Gelato Café, but only went 4 out of 8 days 😔👎

also pictured: unagi pizza and mentaiko corn pizza (it was really good)

Short but fun-packed trip to Japan is already over... Only 5.5 days spent here :(

@chiisanauta and I spent all week eating our favorite things like sushi and matcha soft serve ... So on the final day we still did that 🙂

• The Matcha Tokyo, our love, our favorite matcha soft serve in the world; we went to 3 different locations of it this trip!

• Chavaty matcha soft serve is aight

• Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera — raving reviews but compared to other conveyer belt sushi in JP, the quality to price ratio isn't worth

Island adventure with the best friend 😆

@chiisanauta and I spent two relaxing days in Enoshima! We've been talking about staying at a ryokan (traditional inn with hot springs/baths) for like a decade so we finally made a trip!

Beautiful scenery, the Aquarium, seafood for every meal, and we had our lives changed by lobster sashimi. RIP my cholesterol tho taken in Enoshima, Japan by @_evalasting

🤤 New favorite food in the world unlocked — lobster sashimi!

We'd never heard of it before those words caught our eye in a restaurant review today, and it was insanely good....

Restaurant is Marudai Sensui on Enoshima Island — would definitely come back! Afterwards they turned the rest of the lobster into miso soup o:

Also hi I seem to only remember / feel motivated to update instagram when traveling, so mayhaps I'll try to post more this trip lol taken in Enoshima, Japan by @_evalasting
