Fourth Arts Block (@_fabnyc) and Urban Design Forum seek creative lighting designers to join Illuminations, a multi-year public art and lighting initiative to support safety, cultural visibility, and connection in Manhattan’s Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The lighting designer will partner with artist Dennis RedMoon Darkeem (@dennisredmoon) on an illuminated public art installation honoring the Black and African histories of Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The selected designer will work closely with RedMoon Darkeem to design, fabricate, and install light-based artworks in Spring 2027.
