In an era where virality often feels manufactured, Faioso’s rise on Instagram hits differently. It wasn’t a gimmick, a trend-hack, or a perfectly engineered rollout. It was something much harder to replicate: authenticity rooted in lived experience.

Here’s 6 photos from 2012 to 2025 showing how I’d yo-yo my weight from thin to thick and back. Mostly I just didn’t take pictures because even at 160 lbs I thought I was fat. Current goals include loving myself no matter what size I am! by @_faioso_

New Song, Link to full video in bio. “The goal … is to shift the discussion of police violence … to one of meaningful structural change. … The work to continue to put pressure on politicians, institutions, and one another to divest from police, punishment, and the whole prison-industrial complex will continue. Lyrics:

We're gonna show those Blue Shirts.
You cannot control me.
We're gonna show those Blue Shirts.
I'm gonna air out all of your dirt.
Show those Blue Shirts. (Blue Shirts)
Show those Blue Shirts.
Show those Blue Shirts. (Blue Shirts)
Show those Blue Shirts.
Exploitation. Across many a nation.
Victimization. Glosses my TV station.
The tears from my eyes. And the People's cries.
Could not extinguish the fire.
Would only distinguish the liar.
Oh the fire, the fire, it's already burnt!
My heart aches, ay, I can't bear the hurt.
Smoke signaled Severe Level Alert.
Me and my neighborhood gonna reassert.
Litigation. Is paid-for interpretation.
Over-taxation. For your mistress vacation.
We don’t need indoctrination, more two-way communication.
We want social change for all the human race.
Oh the fire, the fire, it's already burnt!
My heart aches, ay, I can't bear the hurt.
Me and my neighborhood gonna reassert.
Smoke signaled the severe level alert.
Mr. Blueshirt,
What you gonna do now?
When your belly is on the ground like the rest of my town?
Mr. Blueshirt, Mr. Blueshirt,
What you gonna do now?
When your belly is on the ground like the rest of my town?
Mr. Blueshirt

We're gonna show those Blue Shirts.
You cannot control me.
We're gonna show those Blue Shirts.
I'm gonna air out all of your dirt.

2 All My Cuzins was partly inspired by the Measles Epidemic in Samoa in the fall of 2019. Sadly, many children under the age of 5 passed away without measles vaccinations. Around the same time, several of Faioso's family and family friends started passing away from other causes. Faioso was overcome with emotion and wrote this song. The song has cultural and historical references to the Samoan islands and some of the changes that have occurred since contact with Europeans and Americans. The song 2 All My Cuzins encourages youth to learn the ways of our ancestors and parents for wisdom to "never be controlled." Available on all major music platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music. Link in Bio. .
