I have a dream.
I’ve been travelling to a few places around the world now and it’s a blessing. A blessing to be able to. To choose to. To be brave enough to. We live on the most beautiful planet and that I get to explore it is pure magic.

And I want to see it all. My dream is to visit all seven continents. I want to and I will. I’ve been to Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, North America. South America and Antarctica to go.

Jaipur and the last stop of India’s Golden triangel!!

I’ve now done Delhi, Agra, and a detour in Ranthambore;) Actually that little detour made my stay in Jaipur. A delay of my train to Jaipur made me wait a few minutes in the hotel reception, where I met a guy who was also going to Jaipur the next day. So we exchanged WhatsApp and hung out my whole stay here. AS YOU DO.

Solo travelling might mean being alone sometimes - but it never means lonely❣️

Taj Mahal (!!!) and your sign to say hi to a stranger;)

I was wandering around admiring Taj Mahal and it was amazing !! Mighttt have also been stressing about finding someone to take pictures of me because ✨I’m just a girl✨

After walking around for a while and thinking about heading back home, I found a little gap in the crowds and sat down next to two locals to rest my feet. I said hi, we got talking and actually ended up hanging out for quite a while. Then came the little detail of one of them being a photographer ?? I mean, what are the odds. So naturally, there was a whole photoshoot going on and I stayed another hour😇

So take this as your sign to say hi to a stranger, you never know what might happen;) Thank you for making my day @kt_rajput99 & @8512.akash !!

Det hände en sak här om dagen och jag vill höra hur ni tänker, för jag vet inte själv.

Jag älskar att resa själv och tycker att det är en gåva att få ta del av en sådan vacker plats som vi lever på. Sen finns det en del saker jag tänker på som kvinna
- Jag tänker på vad jag har på mig
- Jag går inte ut själv på kvällen
- Jag undviker vissa platser
- Jag blir inte hur full som helst när jag går ut för jag behöver kunna ta hand om mig själv och inte vara beroende av någon annan.

För det mesta är det inga problem och man kommer långt med sunt förnuft. Men det hände en sak här om dagen som jag har haft lite ont i magen över för jag vet inte hur jag ska tänka.

Jag är noga med att alltid visa respekt för den kultur och det land jag är i, men ibland är det svårt att veta var gränsen går. Självklart täcker jag det jag behöver som kvinna när jag går in i religiösa monument. Men hur är det utanför det? På gatorna, i mataffären och i det vardagliga livet.

Är jag osäker så brukar jag ofta titta på vad alla andra turister har på sig. Men här är turisterna från andra delar av Indien och jag är förvånansvärt nog nästan alltid ensam europé och har därför svårt att jämföra och anpassa mig vilket jag annars tycker kan vara en hjälp.

Welcome to India!

Coming from one of the world’s cleanest and most organised countries, this is a big contrast. My first few days here I’ve spent in Delhi, and I can for sure say that there’s so much more to it than the picture often portrayed in the media. There’s colour. There’s history. There’s incredible food and beautiful architecture.

And this is why I LOVE travelling!! Places are rarely as bad — or as good — as people who haven’t actually experienced it themselves make them seem.

Let’s explore more of this beautiful country!
