Sooooo I've got something very, VERY exciting to announce...

I almost can't believe this is true, but in LESS THAN ONE MONTH I will be releasing my first ever self written, recorded and produced album!!!!

'TRY NOT TO WASTE IT'

My heart’s feeling so full today ❤️

First of all, thank you all so much for the love I’ve received for the album (and my Bday), and anyone who’s taken the time to listen to even one song on it, it genuinely means a lot!!

More importantly, thank you to all the lovely people who helped make it what it is, who have been backing it and giving feedback for MONTHS before this point! I would never have been able to finish such a massive project or even have the trust in myself to start it without you ❤️

It’s been such a mad journey over the past year making this and it means so much that the people close to me have given so much thought and consideration to it and motivated me to get it done ❤️ I think you all know who you are and I’ll forever be grateful 🎉

Truthfully, the project was a success to me the moment I started it. The process of creating it and pouring EVERYTHING I had into it, time, money and every spare thought etc…, has been incredibly challenging and also the most fun I’ve ever had creatively and I think it shows on the album 🔥

Even if nobody else hears it from this point, I’m unbelievably proud of myself and the awesome people I worked with to make this what it is.

Huge Shoutout to the collaborators who lent their time, voices, instruments and brainpower to add something to the project:

Heres something very very close to my heart “I Fell Over You” - is out this Saturday at midnight and it's my final single release before the album.

A song that means the world to me, as does the person it’s written for. It’s my personal favourite on the album, and it inspired the Tattoo that has become not only the cover photo for this song, but the cover of the entire album ‘Try Not To Waste It’ out next week (swipe for the reveal!) ⛅️🪞

This song was something beautiful that came out of an impossible time. In a moment of respite, we wrote joking haikus over the dinner table to lighten the mood, until ironically the words “I fell over you” emerged. “Ooh that’s not bad” we laughed, then forgot about it.

Except I didn’t, the next few days I sat with it and wrote a haiku about love. Honest, full frontal, whole, accepting, understanding, seeing, knowing, love.
