Between places, between bodies, between versions of myself.

Second residency with this beautiful project — from Barcelona to Italy — and again I find myself changing.

Dancing feels like a privilege I don’t take lightly.
A privilege to listen deeper,
to arrive closer to myself,
to open spaces I didn’t know were there,
to discover new tools, new sensations,
new colors slowly unfolding in my body, every day.

In this era of proving ourselves every day,
where value is measured in seconds —
in a short video, a frame, a movement —
I often find myself trying to show everything I am:
the softness and the strength,
the dynamics, the groove, the jump,
the precision, the vulnerability.
It becomes a performance before the performance.

But today, I choose something different.
Today, I choose myself.

I choose to be soft.
I want to feel like a kiss in the sunlight,
like summer rain touching warm skin,
like the gentle hug of my mamá and my papá,
like the innocent smile in the photos of me as a baby.

Honest, fragile, present.

Because behind all the effort to show,
there is a quiet wish to be seen.

Being enough is already a beginning.
