Circles, cycles.
Repeating old patterns like it’s a family tradition.
You can blame it on generational trauma… But damn, breaking free is harder than it looks.
This one?

Lately, I’ve been diving deep into South American and Caribbean history—especially the pre-colonial and early colonial periods.

I’ve been fascinated by the visual languages, ornamental patterns, and expressive designs from that time. Exploring these has not only inspired my creative process, but also helped me understand where some elements of my own visual style come from. Such an existential trip —connecting the dots between identity, ancestry, and expression (sort of.)

That said, maybe all I’m really trying to say is:

“I like this design because it feels like home.”
