Ammagamma V13 🥲

This one meant so so so very much to me

Ever since I started climbing, Amma was the pinnacle of Grampians climbing - it was THE line.

Years dreaming of seeing it in person and feeling the holds and one day sending it. For over 2 years I’ve had a sticky note on my cupboard door that simply reads “Send Ammagamma V13”. I’m glad to finally take down that sticky note and to be able to say that I’ve done the boulder I’ve been dreaming about for years.

The Guest List 8B/V13 📋

All it took was 3 sessions and a good mindset and just like that the main goal of the trip was a success.

I was able to detach from my ego and emotions and just get up the dog.

This was despite my best efforts to sabotage myself with a split meaning I had to tape up for the send 🫡

Thanks to everyone who’s supported me all this way 🙏🫶

Best boulder of the trip so far.

Everything about it is perfect it’s incredible. It also fits my style so well so I was actually able to get it done much faster than expected :)

Hoping for more like this.

Rocklands 🇿🇦

Best climbing trip I’ve ever been on hands down. From the people to the views to obviously the climbs, Rocklands was amazing. Will absolutely be coming back.

Last send of the trip 🥲

Was able to sneak in a quick solo morning sesh before I had to leave. Kinda sketch with only one pad but if you just don’t fall it’s not an issue 🧠🤓

Green Mamba 8A+/V12 🐍

Feeling like Russel with that triple double 🤩

Was not expecting last move to be crux.

Tried this a little bit earlier in the trip but it was so boiling hot that I couldn’t even think of cranking up to the last hold. All it took was slightly drier skin and conditions and I found myself standing on top of it.

Thanks @calmather for the 10/10 footy 🙏

Fun little jump.

First hold is evil and the feet are buns 🥯 other than that it’s pretty cool :)

Mask Off 7C+/V10 ⚡️ 🎭

After struggling for hours on Eye of Sauron I was able to just barely get a cheeky flash of this on the way out.

Fully numbed out so the send is a bit janky but oh well 🤷‍♂️

Eye of Sauron 7C+/V10 🪬

Another all time classic, and another anti style boulder.

This thing took quite a while and a lot of grit to get up so very happy to get it done :)

Night Show 8A+/V12 🎪

Like a kid in a candy store did a whole lotta jumping between climbs on this boulder. 🍭

Was able to get this one done a couple days ago which was actually much better than expected. Hopefully next time I’ll be a little more focused now that’s there’s one less boulder to try 😈

Witness the Sickness 8A/V11 👀

Had to give in to the dark side to get this one done 😵

Was gonna do in the jeans but my thigh got a bit too sore and so had to borrow the pad and some shorts 🙏 @calmather

Conditions are an illusion 🌀

Law and Order 8A+/V12 ⛓️‍💥

Quick dispatch of this one. Turns out a triple shot living large helps you send V12.

I love heel hooks, my skin hates sharp crimps.
