Sharing a couple of snippets from the soundscape I made earlier this year (slides 1, 5 🔊) during our epic trip in Iceland with soul fam @giordano.cioni 🤍 I recorded and incorporated sounds from the Arctic sea, springs, waterfalls, and melting glaciers. The inspiration comes from Sedna, the Inuit goddess of the Arctic Ocean. She also rules the furthest planetary body in our solar system, reaching from the depths of the ocean to the edges of the cosmos with her pervasive, transformative qualities. Hope to eventually develop this into a prolonged live piece for deep listening, designed to resolve stuck subconscious patriarchal narratives and allow them to alchemise with the fluid, regenerative bursts of creation 🌊🌊🌊 by @_flowerofvenus_

Thank you everyone who joined us on our quantum writing &listening experiment ᗩT ᗪᑌᔕK ᗯE ᗷᒪOOᗰ, under the full moon shine. We really tapped into new ways of listening to music, to words and to our internal frequencies. It has always been my dream to create sonic experiences beyond the usual format, and weave in some potent healing practices, offer a space for creativity instead of consumption and allow everyone to connect with others + themselves in unexpected beautiful ways. Big love to Orshi and Oli with whom we make these things happen, thank you Nina and Sanna for your incredible performances, the gallery for having us the whole weekend and frens for your warm presence 🫶🏽 by @_flowerofvenus_

$in August I played at one of my favourite and most magical events @mfa.berlin taking place in the forest, under the shooting stars. dedicating a night to deep listening, sheltered only by music and natural frequencies has been incredibly healing and fun. you can now hear my ambient set on mixcloud {link in bio} fused with experimental, breaks and ethereal idm spells. thanks so much to everyone who organised and took part in this cosmic channeling 🫶🏽🌌🌀👽🤍 by @_flowerofvenus_$

In my new article on Orb Mag (🔗in bio) I dive into the science of sound beyond its sonic qualities and how its vibrational essence affects us on both physical and emotional levels. I interviewed @x0sar , @rrose1921 , @sannamun and @stefanieegedy - four artists who alchemize the power of sound waves in their creative practices, fusing music with intentional technical experimentaion across various domains - for example creating Ableton plugins in specific ranges, composing with planetary frequencies, quantum listening, or working exclusively with low frequencies.

Sound holds a potential to truly transform, heal and lead us toward alignment with our innate truth. As sound immersions of different forms become ever more present in our daily lives, how can this medium and the music scene influence our social development?

Back in 2020 I wrote my first piece on sound healing and how creatives fuse it in their music for @mnmt.no . It’s no longer online and I didn’t make a post, so mentioning it here. Since then this topic has gained so much more awareness and is becoming increasingly accessible for everyone to explore and try. I am so happy to be able to share this message and hopefully to inspire you to tune in intentionally more often. by @_flowerofvenus_

So proud to finally announce our next event THE HOELOGRAM FESTIVAL by KONVENT on June 4th 🐍 We will celebrate the work of flinta artists at the intersection of VR, installation, performance, music, workshop and food, promising to interrogate our post pandemic futures as a web of collectivities, whereby we explore healing technologies embedded within our digital metaverse. Through the fabric of sound, we will expand beyond + dive beneath the two-dimensional digital renderings, our identities have been subsumed to during the pandemic, and forge new & unexpected connections along its hoelographic pathways of care.

In a Glitch Feminist fashion we invite ✺ The Hologram Project ✺ who mused the creation of this event - to workshop together towards the creation of a peer-to-peer, feminist, post-crises health-care network.
∞ Together we promise to sculpt an environment that prioritizes femmes, queers and people of color and their experiences, while providing a space for collective worlds making, for a feminist, post-capitalist future. ∞

We will tap into the power of solidarity through the digital and corporeal, through both a journey into the virtual realms of individual risk sharing (psychological, social and physical) to the visceral bonding on the dancefloors, flourishing in the musical metaverses of Berlin’s FLINTA artists.

⩪ Bodies of Water ⩪ is a guided meditation I narrated on the element of water, inspired by my research on sound healing and the potency + memory that water holds in a physical, spiritual and collective context. Listen to it on my SoundCloud - link in bio ☁️

༄ Sound waves arise from the ocean of pure beingness, from the motion that changes reality ༄

The immersion begins with a poetry co-written with Orsi and sets the scene in a dystopian future where water is scarcity. We also intuitively draw inspiration from the cycles of the moon to gently remember the intertwining between our bodies and the cosmos.

༄ Here and now you are engulfed by a consciousness, greater than your own ༄

As the new eclipse season begins in Taurus and the water sign of Scorpio (my sign), I feel it is the best time to attune into this realm of receptivity + fluidity. In contrast to a regular Full Moon energy when we are potent in manifesting and driving things to culmination, the Lunar Eclipse is an invitation to go with the flow and listen. Allow change, allow trust and intuition to guide you. 🌊

༄ I invite you to feel all that you desire and all that you wish to come to you now. Use the power and flow of water to let your dreams in ༄

This meditation (starting at 1:11min) will help you to connect to the knowledge of water & sound within you and all around you. I personally loved finding the connections with experiencing music and incorporating them in a mindful practice.

༄ Energy is a naturally vibrating substance, therefore, what holds our bodies together is purely sound ༄

Huge thanks to the aquarian @marlethesinger who initiated and directed this film we did for @konvent_official as an intro of an epic deep techno set by @Olivia__mendez for @mnmt.no and thanks to the talented team on visual and sound editing + production 🤍🌀

For more info on healing frequencies read my article + interview with DJs/producers Lucy, LDY OSC and Ground Tactics on their use of sound as a healing modality, also linked in bio.

Still full of excitement & love when I think about the fiery energy on the dance floor last Saturday, and the safe space for connecting and expression we all created throughout the event. Im so grateful to be part of this collective as what we organise goes far beyond just a party and challenges the patriarchal structures in the music scene, in order to elevate all female identities. We are thankful for all who were present and made our first @konvent_official event such a memorable experience. The feedback we got, the valuable open dialogues that sparked in our telegram group and the requests for a next event, motivates us to develop as a collective and gather once again to organise something special 🐍
