Today I’m taking a moment to celebrate ME. 🥹

I officially PASSED my Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance exam! 🏡🚗📚✅

And this one means a little more to me than simply passing another exam.

Over the years, I’ve watched an idea turn into Financial Gems Insurance. 💎 I’ve built a career helping individuals and families navigate Medicare, Health & Life Insurance, and with every season I’ve continued learning, growing, evolving and finding new ways to serve.

And now we’re adding another chapter.

Property & Casualty Insurance is coming soon to Financial Gems Insurance. 🏡🚗💎

More knowledge.
More protection.
More opportunities.
More ways to serve the people who trust me with some of life’s biggest decisions.

But growth hasn’t only looked like business lately.

It’s looked like challenging myself. Taking care of myself. Becoming more disciplined. Learning myself. Showing up even when things aren’t perfect. And realizing that sometimes you have to stop chasing the next accomplishment long enough to appreciate the woman who accomplished the last one.

So today, I’m giving her her flowers. 💐

And that little girl in the last slide? 🥹

I hope she’d look at the woman she’s becoming and think, “Wow…we really did that.”

Still growing.

I’m not trippin’ when we trippin’—because this one right here was unforgettable.
From peaceful mornings to soulful conversations, this Jamaica trip gave me more than just views. It gave me clarity, connection, and a much-needed breath of fresh air.
Between the beauty of the island, the joy of learning more about the culture, and the time spent with good people (and my person), I’m walking away with memories I’ll carry forever.

This year was personal. I love and appreciate everyone who’s been a part of my journey, but this year was all about me—leaning into who I’m called to be, and trusting God like never before.

For those who know me, determination is in my DNA. But this year, it wasn’t just about trying harder—it was about trusting God to lead me. My focus was on discipline—leaning into my God-given talents and letting go of what no longer served me or aligned with my purpose. And yes, sometimes that meant being the bigger person when it would’ve been easier to react.

I stopped worrying about pleasing people, explaining myself, or being understood. I let the narrators tell their stories while I stayed focused on my growth. I made my mental health a priority—healing old wounds, filling myself up through time at the gym, reading, attending church, and staying active in my purpose, whether it was directly through @financialgemsinsurance or simply by being authentically me.

But here’s the kicker—my final goal of the year was to serve 100+ new clients in just 8 weeks. No team, no handouts—just pure faith and sweat. And with God’s grace, I surpassed that goal.

He carried me through every challenge, proving that with Him, I can handle anything. He blessed me with more clients than I ever expected and gave me a brighter vision for what’s to come. Thank you, God, for your endless provision. Here’s to trusting the process and stepping into purpose in ways I never thought possible. 💫 by @_fonny
