It’s time for another spotlight post!! Meet one of our Forevers, Karina!
She is a senior government major and joined in the spring of 2025.

Why did you join FTX?
“I joined ftx because I wanted to find a tight-knit sisterhood because UT is so big it can feel overwhelming at times and I wanted a place to find my people. When I went to the info session the girls were so welcoming and easy to talk which was exactly what I was looking for. Joining this org has found me some of my closest friends and I’m so grateful for that!”

Tell us something fun about you!
“I loveee watching movies which is very fitting for this semesters theme! Whether it’s in the theaters or rewatching movies at home it’s a great decompressor. I’m most excited for The Batman Part II to come out :)”

Any advice for new forevers/blossoms?
“Go to as many of our events as you can! Mixers are so fun to hang out with the ftx girls and meet new people. I also love formal and boat party because each one is our last event for the respective semester, so it’s a way to celebrate the year all together before break. Just be yourself this and you will make so many amazing memories!”
