24 Hours in Nashville 🎶

Zakari and I are so grateful for the opportunity to spend a day in Nashville through the @hbiyd field trip experience.

As a music lover, visiting the Musicians Hall of Fame was the highlight of my trip. Being in Music City and experiencing the legacy, stories, and impact of some of the greatest musicians and songs of all time was truly inspiring.

Seeing it all through Zakari’s eyes made it even more special. In just 24 hours, we learned, explored, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy Father’s Day to the man @johnny.lambert.9085 who has always been more than just my father.

Through every crazy day and every good day, you have always been there. When life didn’t make sense, you stepped in with wisdom, guidance, and lessons that helped shape the woman I am today.

Thank you for the late nights, the long talks, and the countless lessons on how to navigate this thing called life. So much of what I know about resilience, hard work, faith, and perseverance came from sitting and listening to you.

Thank you for instilling in me the values, strength, and pride of my roots—lessons that continue to guide me every day.

Thank you for your love, sacrifices, and for always showing up when it mattered most.

This month has truly filled my heart with gratitude and pride as I write this. 💙

Zakari… Mommy could not be more proud of you.
Another Honor Roll the ENTIRE school year. 📚
Math Whiz Award recipient. ➕
Social Studies Whiz Award recipient. 🌍
Made the Soccer All-Star Team. ⚽

And last week, you gave your ALL on that field after being selected to be part of the All In FC All-Star Team. Your heart, determination, discipline, and effort continue to amaze me. But beyond the awards and accomplishments, I’m most proud of the young man you are becoming.

This year wasn’t always easy, but you kept pushing, growing, learning, and rising through every challenge. Watching you balance school, sports, emotions, and still continue to shine makes me so proud to be your mommy.

Zakari, your name means “The Lord recalled,” and I truly believe God has a special calling over your life. You are smart, gifted, loving, strong, and full of light. Never stop believing in yourself and never stop putting God first.

And most importantly… God, thank You. 🙏🏽
Thank You for carrying us, protecting us, strengthening us, and blessing us through every season. Thank You for every lesson, every closed door, every open door, and every moment that brought us here. To my beautiful sister @everblessnichola — I am beyond proud of you! Watching your journey, your hard work, dedication, and perseverance has been amazing to witness. God has truly been good to us. From John’s little girls to now becoming strong, accomplished women, it’s such a blessing to see how far we’ve come and all that we continue to achieve through faith, strength, and determination.

I’m also so blessed and thankful for the beautiful turnout and all the love shown to celebrate this special moment with you. This achievement is so well deserved, and I know this is only the beginning of even greater things ahead.

I just have to pause and give God all the glory. My 4th grade son Zakari made the Honor Roll, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 🙏🏽💙

Watching you grow, learn, and push through challenges reminds me daily how faithful God truly is. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but God has carried us every step of the way — and moments like this make it all worth it.

Zakari, I am so proud of your hard work, your focus, and your determination. You continue to show Mommy that with faith, discipline, and effort, anything is possible. You are walking proof that God’s promises are real.

As I step into this new year, I’m choosing to count my blessings slowly. Not rushing past them. Not overlooking them. Just sitting with gratitude for how far God has carried me.

I’m learning to stay present—to honor this season instead of constantly preparing for the next one. I don’t want to live ahead of myself anymore. What’s meant for me will meet me in God’s timing, not my anxiety.

I remain deeply thankful to be a mother. That blessing never gets old. It grounds me, humbles me, and reminds me daily of what truly matters. No matter what changes around me, that calling is sacred and steady.

I pray that God blesses every opportunity ahead—those I can see and the ones I haven’t imagined yet. May He order my steps, protect my time, and align my heart with His will. I welcome what’s coming with faith, discernment, and gratitude.

I enter this year blessed, covered, and at peace—trusting God to do what only He can do.
