Feeling like a Sleep Token song in these 🫶 by @_frogskin_

Death. It creeps up on you when you least expect it. It’s an ugly thing. It took you away from me. I know the rest of my life I will always feel incomplete, because you Georgie were a piece of me. Everyone here that knows me automatically knows you. I never let anyone befriend me without seeing pictures of my beautiful lizard. You did not deserve to have your life taken away from you this abruptly. You were the best lizard I could’ve asked for. In a clutch full of geckos who ran away from me, you welcomed me with open arms, or claws haha. It was like god made us for each other. Nobody will understand the connection I had to you. Every reptile owner always remembers their first animal. You introduced me to a world of amazing, beautiful, and misunderstood creatures. I understood how that felt. You were not seen as a family member to non pet lovers, but you were family to me. I always mentioned you when talking about my family. You were my whole world. You got me through so many rough patches in my life. Sometimes when I was sad I’d turn over, see you sleeping on your rock, and couldn’t help but smile. My room feels so cold and empty without you here. I know people say reptiles don’t have souls, but I believe you did. I felt your life, and I felt it drain slowly from you these past couple of weeks. I wish more than anything I could save you. I don’t know why this happened to us. You didn’t deserve to be in so much pain. Hearing you cry broke me. I can only be grateful you aren’t struggling anymore. I can rest easy knowing wherever you may be that you are happy. I hope to see you again in the next life. I love you George. I’ll never forget you. Thank you for being the best lizard a reptile owner could ever ask for. You brought so many smiles to me and all my loved ones. My beautiful baby boy 🩵 by @_frogskin_
