Four more days until I walk across the stage with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. What a special three years it has been here at Vanguard.

I am very thankful and blessed for all the opportunities that the sport of beach volleyball has provided me.

First, it has given me an education that has been both impactful and applicable. I am so grateful to have professors who truly care about my education, help develop my critical thinking skills, and equip us to solve real-life social issues after graduating.

Being a part of S.A.L.T. has been a privilege as well. Being surrounded by other student-athletes who share a similar mindset has allowed for meaningful friendships, a stronger connection to other sports, and a shared drive to improve the student-athlete experience.

Thank you to my coaches for giving me the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. I am also so thankful to have met my amazing teammates over these past three years. Teammates make your experience as an athlete memorable, and you leave with the best friends. They provide a sense of community and become your lifelong sisters. Love you all so much.

And shout out Balboa 103 🥳🥳👛💅 by @_g.pecile_
