POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

you have a story that needs to be told. we want to make it.

be honest: you’re working so hard to feed the content beast that you forgot storytelling is what brought you to film in the first place. we’ve been there. it’s not the vibe. so let’s turn back the clock and collaborate the old fashioned way.

welcome to The Writer’s Room_001, the first installment of a community event series for the development of new original work. we have one goal in mind: help each other make the shit we want to make.

have a short screenplay that’s been sitting on your desk for months? a story that’s been stuck in your head? an idea so *you* that only a real one would get it? pitch it to a group of likeminded artists ready to produce for the love of the game.

I miss my people. If I haven’t seen you in a while, just know… I will soon. Life goes fast, but you are what matters to me more than anything.

I think the reason I’m drawn to chess is the same reason I’m drawn to success as a founder.

They both require a vast library of knowledge, not just about the topic at hand, but about yourself. They’re about constant improvement, study, patience, and focus. Chess is an unsolved game, and betting on myself in a field of stark competition and a world of chaos and uncertainty leads to an unsolved future.

But if I knew exactly what tomorrow looked like, it wouldn’t be quite as thrilling to be alive.

I’m here for the brilliancies, the blunders, the possibilities that this journey has to offer. It’s what gets me up every day. It’s what fuels me to keep going.

But… I can’t take it too seriously. That would just ruin the fun.

No. Watch this.

Creating this TTBB Acappella arrangement of Bazooka by Miami XO was one of the most entertaining and fulfilling parts of our launch so far. Here’s to more reckless creating in a world where WE make the rules. Can’t wait to show you what’s next.

The full video and breakdown of this composition and performance is up on the bittersuite YouTube channel, as well as my music channel, Music Makes Gabe. Give it a whirl (link in bio) and let me know what you think 👵💥

for @_gabewright’s OPEN YOUR MIND @tbd.products spec, we turned our living room into a set. & when we needed a rig we didn’t own, we frankenstiened a tripod arm from a different one. then we let the color grade do the rest.
