Glasgow Charity Fashion Show is delighted to announce that our charity partner for 2026/27 is Breast Cancer Now @breastcancernow 🩷

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, funding life-saving science and providing life-changing support to make their vision a reality: by 2050, everyone with breast cancer will live and live well.

1 in 7 women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and it is one of the biggest killers of working-age women in Scotland.

Breast Cancer Now are finding new ways to detect and treat breast cancer, whilst also supporting thousands of people across the UK. They ensure that thousands of people are able to access the treatment and care that they need.

GCFS is honoured to be able to work with such an amazing charity which supports so many people. All of the funds raised by GCFS this year will go directly to the development of the services and research that Breast Cancer Now conduct right here in Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On Thursday we headed to @revolverecycle , a social enterprise giving clothing a new lease of life, to source outfits for our first two shoots of the year♻️

Where to find GCFS this FRESHERS WEEK 👀

Monday, we’re joining GEMS at @bananamoonglasgow for welcome drinks. Come down, chat with the committee and pick up a GCFS membership card to get 10% off your drinks.

Tuesday, we’ll be at the @uofglasgow Freshers Fayre all day. Stop by our stall to meet the team and find out more about GCFS, model castings, memberships and what we have coming up this year.

Then we’re heading to Berkeley Suite for the GCFS x GEMS Freshers Club Night 🪩 Tickets are almost sold out, with limited tickets available on the door, so get down early! Whether you are attending the club night or not we have a brilliant lineup of local student DJs at our PRE-PARTY with @inndeepbar , come along from 6pm and grab some discounted drinks with your membership cards before we take the dance floor!

On Wednesday we will be finishing off the week at the @gsa.studentsassociation freshers fayre, you can find us there from 12-4pm, please come along and find out some more information on how you can get involved with the upcoming campaign.
