EVERYONE HAS A STORY…... WE JUST NEED TO LISTEN.

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Friends of Essex & London Homeless, we want to do something a little different.

Over the past decade, we have shared countless experiences, met incredible people, faced challenges, celebrated milestones and, most importantly, stood alongside people experiencing homelessness and those who needed someone to listen, care and help.

Now, as we approach this important 10-year milestone, we want to share our story.

We have already started putting together a chronological account of our first ten years the people, the moments, the challenges, the achievements and the memories that have shaped Friends of Essex & London Homeless into what it is today.

But we know that telling a story like this properly takes more than putting words on a page.

So we are reaching out to our followers, supporters and wider community.

We are looking for a publisher, author, editor or publishing professional who may be able to help us turn our work so far into a book something that captures our first ten years honestly, respectfully and in a way that can reach a much wider audience.

This isn’t simply a book about an organisation.

It’s about people.

It’s about the stories we have heard, the lives we’ve encountered, the friendships we’ve made, the difficult moments, the good times, the lessons learned and the difference that can be made when people choose to listen.

Everyone has a story…... we just need to listen.

If you are a publisher, writer, editor or someone with experience in bringing real-life stories to life or you know someone who could help us we would love to hear from you.

Perhaps you could help us tell the story of our first ten years.
