“Notes From The Pit” is my debut collection of poetry. It’s a baby of a chapbook, but it is mine.

“Notes..” started off as a series of poem about the pits at different concerts, and how BAD they went. Unfortunately, the closest I ever get to God is when I dare him to catch me.

It eventually became a collection of my most un-manicured, unprepared moments: breaking my body, refusing to fix it, a FAIR AMOUNT of sex, and a SpongeBob poem, which funny enough is the best one in there [I do not have sex with SpongeBob].

If anything, “Notes..” is a goodbye letter to my 20’s.

I’m grateful to those who have told me my work isn’t complete dogshit. I am comfortable enough to let everyone decide for themselves now.

Currently working with my friends at [REDACTED] on a book release party, which [fingers crossed] will also be a recording session for a live album. I’d love for you all to be a part of that. Details within a week or so.

Much love. Stay safe. Or don’t you’re all adults. by @_george.flores_
