Heart is beyond full after the past 2 weeks with @teensatgraham Thank you to the faculty and all the people involved in this beautiful experience❤️ by @_giannalowry
The soul flickers. The soul fades. It hungers for fuel, for warmth. But we give and give, without knowing when to stop. Until the giving becomes losing and the losing becomes forgetting and when we look back, there’s nothing left but the ache of what we gave away. Soul fuel — we all need it, because without it, who cares about the outside when you finally take a second to look back at yourself only to see something empty staring back? All of these girls truly fuel my soul. From the bottom of my heart thank you all and Ms. Alexa deeply. I could’ve have asked for anything more. “Echoes of a Memory” A reflection on the suffocating nature of memories that refuse to fade, this piece I choreographed explores how the past lingers in unexpected ways. I wanted to capture the tension of wanting to move forward while being pulled back by echoes of a moment that refuses to be forgotten. Here’s a snippet- thank you to @degas_dance_studio and @lilianmanansala for all the guidance and a BIG thank you to @munkhjinemma for making this come to life by @_giannalowry
