You taught me how to ride a bike, you taught me how to throw a football, and hit a baseball. You taught me how to fish, and how to drive. You taught me how to cook, and to always be a leader and not a follower. You taught me to stand for the little guy, and to always be there when the ones you love need you the most. But above all else you taught me to be a man. You taught me how to love and protect your family above all else. You taught me if you want something to go work for it. You were at every single game imaginable, you spend hours throwing me BP, and teaching me about the games we both loved. You always had my back and always believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I love you so much Dad and I miss you so much. But I promise I’m going to take care of mom and James for you while you’re gone. I just hope I was able to make you proud and I hope to one day be half the father you were! Let me introduce my fiancé!!! 🤍

I truly can’t put into words how loved, cherished, and seen this man makes me feel. If you know us well, you know we’ve undergone some pretty big life changes recently. From meeting on Hinge to falling in love, taking on long distance, navigating a few career changes, and G making the move to Dallas so we could create a life together—it’s been a wild ride so far.

Garrett is, without a doubt, the man I want to do all of life with. He is my person through and through. He makes the great days even better and the low ones a little less low. He has brought so much color into my life and my world, and I feel so incredibly lucky to do life with my best friend and the best partner someone could hope for.

The little details of our relationship have been so sweet, and Garrett is truly the best person I’ve ever known. I cannot wait to be his wife. God has blessed both of us so abundantly, and whatever life throws our way, I know we will always be better together.

These are the people that shaped me, Bre and I have been friends for 17 incredible years. She brings so much joy and light to everyone around her.
