Scribble scratch to crispy… by @_groe_
Pult some fun collab murrine with @tyleemanglass, now to make something cool with it for their show at @nevereststudio on Saturday! It’s gonna be a fun one……………… by @_groe_
Super fun @legacycupmn once again! The cloudy day didn’t keep the smoke clouds away. ☁️💨 It was a pleasure to build out the entrance again this year. Every year this thing gets a little bigger and a little crazier. One of my favorite parts of doing it is hanging around afterward and watching people’s first impressions as they come through the entrance and interact with the installation. This year I really wanted to lean into the cut-out, silhouette-shaped patterns and more gestural line-making, while keeping the color scheme clean and precise. A slightly different approach for me, and I really enjoyed seeing all the planning come together and installed. I’d love to get into some more projects like this, as well as murals, this fall and winter. So if you’ve got a wall or a weird entrance that needs some weird love, inquire within. Thanks again to the @legacycupmn crew for having me back, and thanks to all the homies who helped make it happen. by @_groe_

New studio update… off to a slow start. But we starting to get comfy. @nevereststudio by @_groe_
Final BOSS: getting this thing moved… The Boronary is no more. I’ve been involved with this room in one shape or another since 2008, and it became my glass shop in 2015. It’s seen so many iterations, layouts, and lineups of artists. Even at its low points, it was fucking awesome. So much happened in this room; parties, LONG work days, hella weed, being fucking stoked! , crying, sweating, creating, growing, regressing, and so much more. Thank you to the hundreds, if not thousands, of people who have come through these doors to fuck with me or with the other artists who occupied this space we me over the years. I’ve been pretty burnt out the last few years, staring at fire is fun and all, but sometime last year I decided that working hard to reposition myself would be more worthwhile than just trudging through. So here we are. I took on some other hustles and made a lot of changes in my personal life that I don’t really need to speak on on here, it’s been a ride,,,, BUT I didn’t land too far away. Major remodel, but mostly the same clay, but also definitely added some more awesome clay too. Exciting things to come… @nevereststudio Tap in if this rooms made an impact on you, I would love to hear it… by @_groe_
Signs for Change: Community Sign Printing Workshop With support from @springboardarts, I’m excited to offer a FREE community silkscreen printing workshop and sign-sharing event @nevereststudio. Over the course of two evening workshops, participants will learn the basics of the silkscreen printing process while creating their own message, designing artwork, and printing signs to share with the community. Together, we’ll explore how art and printmaking can be used to express ideas, build connections, and encourage community dialogue. Creating a message and sharing it publicly can be a powerful way to find others who share your values, concerns, and hopes for the future. Through yard signs and posters, participants will contribute their voices to a larger community conversation while learning a new creative skill. Workshop space is very limited, and we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants at Neverest Studio. Because spots are limited, please register only if you are able to attend and fully participate in both workshop sessions. Following the workshop, we’ll host a free public sign-sharing and community distribution event where participants can showcase their work and share their messages with neighbors, friends, and community members. Workshop Dates June 23 & June 24 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Community Sign-Sharing & Distribution Event June 27 rescheduled for July 3rd 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Workshop participation is free, but registration is required. The July 3rd community event is free and open to the public. Head over to www.nevereststudio.com to reserve your spot for the free workshop. by @_groe_
