pre-order update: the new bluhm album is now available through handstitched* in limited edition tape and cd issues (40/50 copies)

https://handstitched.bandcamp.com/album/signals-in-the-static

copies will be available via @tobirarecords very soon 💿🎵

It has been thirteen years since the last bluhm album was released, 2013's "in the vale of tears" was released by the facture imprint — now in 2026, "signals in the static" is the latest work to finally see the light of day.

bluhm took time to reflect on the works they had previously released and consciously set-out to create a musical narrative equally as mysterious, reflective and otherworldly for the new album, again, using the unforced process both with the vocals and the music, applying the trademark elements of purity alongside the walls of sound to evoke these emotional overtones — fragments of frantic, lost conversations can be heard, sometimes mistaken, then lost once again in translation.

thanks for listening x

[2View] Maps and Diagrams’ beneath still stars (handstitched*) & returning light (Home Normal)
https://igloomag.com/reviews/maps-and-diagrams-beneath-still-stars-returning-light
#igloomag #reviews @portrhombus

"Two decades removed from the clockwork IDM of Polytuft-Tech, Tim Martin’s returning light (Home Normal) and beneath still stars (handstitched*) find him stripping everything back to drift, texture, and quietly resonant melody, resulting in two companion albums that feel less like separate releases than different sides of the same long, unhurried thought." by @_handstitched

Ian Hawgood :: Live at Still Point 2026 (Folk Reels)
https://igloomag.com/reviews/ian-hawgood-live-at-still-point-2026-folk-reels
#igloomag #reviews @mircosalvadori

"Hawgood has tied Folk Reels to the idea of a mobile archive, a repository for scattered works, old tapes and encounters. Live At Still Point 2026 introduces a welcome fissure into that archive. To preserve also means admitting loss and giving it an audible measure." by @_handstitched

✨ the listening party for the new album by midorinozu is tonight at 7pm UK time — please feel free to drop by for a cup of tea and a slice of cake ✨

& some nice words from home normal~~~~>

We’re thrilled to introduce midorinozu, the collaborative project of Mike Cottone (The Green Kingdom) and Tim Diagram (maps and diagrams), with 'lost horizons' — a deeply atmospheric collection of blurred electronics, organic textures and quietly unfolding melody.

The roots of this collaboration reach back through both Home Normal and our sister label, Nomadic Kids Republic. We released two maps and diagrams albums through NKR in 2011, followed by The Green Kingdom’s beautiful *Egress* in 2012. More than a decade later, it feels especially meaningful to bring Mike and Tim together for a new project that reconnects those histories while creating something entirely its own.

We’re very happy to be sharing the album with you at an early listening party next Tuesday. Tim will be joining us from the UK and Mike from the USA to listen along and chat about the album, while we’ll be hosting from Stockholm — making it a truly international affair, as always. :)

We very much look forward to ‘seeing’ you there! :)
