Our first retreats of 2027 are coming up January 13–14 and January 15–16, and we would love to see you walking through these doors. More details about our January retreats are coming soon to havenplace.org! You won't want to miss this. by @_havenplace
Doing the deeper work of healing requires a space where you feel safe enough to be honest about what you've been carrying. That is something Lysa and her family are deeply intentional about creating at Haven Place. Every detail is designed to help women feel welcomed, cared for, and comfortable as they seek the Lord and work through some of the hardest parts of their stories. Our hope is that when women walk through these doors, they feel the peace of God's presence and know they have entered a place where they can exhale, be honest, and do the inner work healing often requires. That sense of safety is at the heart of Haven Place. If you've been looking for a place to take your next step toward healing, learn more about Haven Place and our upcoming January retreats at havenplace.org. by @_havenplace
Healing looks different when you have the right people walking alongside you. 🤍 At Haven Place, Lysa TerKeurst and her family open their home to create an intimate environment where women can step away, feel supported, and take intentional steps toward healing. Each retreat combines biblical wisdom, therapeutic insight, and compassionate community, with sessions led by Lysa, Licensed Professional Counselor Jim Cress, and theologian Dr. Joel Muddamalle. Guests also have small-group time to ask questions, work through what has been keeping them stuck, and gain practical tools they can carry with them long after the retreat ends. Our hope is that every woman who comes to Haven Place leaves with greater clarity, renewed hope, and the reminder that she does not have to navigate the hard parts of her story alone. by @_havenplace
When the sun goes down at Haven Place, the retreat doesn't stop. 🤍 The conversations continue around the fire. Stories are shared, friendships deepen, and women have space to sit together without the rush of needing to be anywhere else. That's part of what makes Haven Place so unique. Healing isn't confined to a scheduled session or teaching. It can happen in the quiet moments between them, over a shared meal, during an honest conversation, or gathered around a fire with women who understand. Every part of your time here is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and feel a little less alone. Ready to experience Haven Place for yourself? Save the dates for our January retreats, January 11-12, January 13–14, and January 15–16, 2027. We'd love to welcome you here! by @_havenplace

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to have everything figured out before you come. There is a place for you here. Save the dates for our January retreats: January 13–14 and January 15–16, 2027. More details are coming soon at havenplace.org. by @_havenplace
When someone else's chaos enters your life, it can be easy to feel like it's now your responsibility to fix it. In the latest episode of Therapy & Theology, Lysa TerKeurst, Jim Cress, and Dr. Joel Muddamalle unpack what happens when another person's choices, emotions, or behaviors begin disrupting your own sense of peace. They explore why we can't control another person, what healthy boundaries can look like when their chaos affects us, and how to respond without taking responsibility for something that was never ours to carry. Listen to "Their Chaos Doesn't Have to Be Your Chaos," available now on Spotify, Youtube, or Apple Podcasts! by @_havenplace

There can be a paper-thin line between being responsible and trying to control the outcome. We can do what is ours to do. We can make wise decisions, take meaningful action, and care deeply about what happens next. But when we start carrying responsibility for an outcome we were never meant to control, that weight can quickly become exhausting. In this episode of Therapy & Theology, Lysa TerKeurst, Jim Cress, and Dr. Joel Muddamalle unpack how to recognize the difference and what it looks like to trust God with what is ultimately outside of our control. It takes courage to revisit the parts of your story that still hurt. Sometimes moving forward means giving yourself the space to understand what happened, name what you've been carrying, and begin working through it with the right support around you. At Haven Place, women are given a safe and compassionate environment to have hard conversations, ask honest questions, and process their experiences through biblical wisdom and therapeutic insight. Looking back doesn't mean living in the past. Sometimes, it's part of finding a healthier way forward. by @_havenplace
