I’m so proud of this little space on this app & 100% believe that it has helped massively with processing what happened in April (all the big chats 🥰)Chatting, having advice for everything & anything on hand & a little cheerleading squad in my phone is something I don’t take for granted ❤️

24 hours in the forest 🪵🌳🍂

I’ve been going to @galgormresort for 11 years now, so I think I’ve perfected it 😜 The Forest Dens are incredible & come with their own wood fired sauna and hot tub all tucked along the river bed 🌾

- Check in at 3pm, but use of the spa from 12pm for lodges.
- We order a takeaway & eat it in our robes, no getting ready for dinner, just pure relaxation.
- Adding on late checkout means the spa is really quiet from half 10 onwards, you’re there until 1pm.
- The Gillies buffet breakfast is 11/10, it’s 9am-12pm so you can bring a little granola bar or something eat it, go to the spa, then go to breakfast before checkout.
- The Conservatory is 7am, but it’s not a buffet & Andy nearly needed a difib when he couldn’t do self service 😅
- Always check the Spa reception after check in, they normally have deals on treatments and river hot tubs etc 🫧

And finally, the Cabanas on the new ‘other side’ OMGOSH, go find them if you don’t know what I’m talking about & thank me after ✨

5 minutes from home, but feels like a different world 🦌❤️

Kinda chic to recover 🧠✨❤️

Sometimes I still can’t quite believe that I’ve got the little anxiety monkey to stop swinging from problem to problem in my head🐒 Sertraline brought me back to life & a year ago I honestly didn’t think it could. I didn’t even think I could wait the 2 weeks for it to kick in, never mind it actually handing me my life back ❤️

Medication isn’t for everyone and I know that, but if you’re in the pits and battling with your own head everyday, please speak to your GP. Life doesn’t have to be that hard and there is no medal at the end for going it alone 🧠

You can be the most positive, funniest, strongest girl in the room, but inside you can be fighting for your life with your own thoughts. The scariest part? No one will know unless you tell them ❤️‍🩹 I spent so long hiding how I felt, and wow I wish I hadn’t. A problem shared, a cliche as it may sound, really is a problem halved.

I’ve gotten to a place now where I’m no longer scared of being anxious, it’s a part of everyday life, totally normal. But what the difference is, it doesn’t control me and that’s what’s SO important 💪🏻

So yeah, I’d say it’s kinda chic…
