A little staggered to have just got my first Emmy Nomination!!

'StoryBots: Super Silly Stories with Bo', our @netflix children's series just got nominated at the Children's and Family Emmys / Television Academy Awards, for Best Editing for a Preschool Animated Program!

The show used an experimental mix of animation editing, scripted live action editing, reality/doc style editing, and improv comedy editing all rolled into one crazy package, so it's really cool to have been recognised - especially as we were a tiny operating crew! (I did a mad multitasking role of a combo Showrunner/Co-Writer/Director/Editor)

Huge love to all the team and crew for their hard work - editing is one of those 'invisible disciplines' - if it's done well you don't notice it, and it relies on everything else, from art to acting to animation, so it's a big team effort - I'll try to list everyone below (apologies if I miss anyone)! - and BIG thankyou as always to @espiridellis and @g.spiridellis the @storybots creators, for letting us play in their sandbox!

Finally, a huge well done to all the StoryBots crew, as a whole they picked up an insane 10 NOMINATIONS! 🤯 Having seen how hard everyone worked it's amazing to see it get recognised ❤️

Introducing Lily Marie Dalton 🥰

Born 4:26am, 28th April (we went into the hospital at 00:30am - the birthing nurse said it was ‘beyond reality’ that @_chelseadalton birthed her so quickly for a first baby and that she was so big 😂)

It’s Emmys week! The Children’s and Family Emmy Awards is being held on Saturday, and as well as being nominated for ‘StoryBots: Super Silly Stories with Bo’ the StoryBots team as a whole picked up an additional 9 nominations, making a whopping 10 EMMY NOMS for StoryBots!

It’s one of the most above-and-beyond, insanely hard-working, kind and absurdly talented groups of creative people I’ve ever had the good fortune to be able to work with, and it’s so fantastic that their work is getting this sort of recognition ❤️❤️❤️
