Here’s how booking works at Her Mane Obsession ✨

Established clients receive priority booking and can reserve their preferred appointments before the schedule opens to the public.

New client booking opens on the last day of every month at 8 PM sharp. All new clients must begin with a New Client Package.

Feel free to check the booking site for an opening at any time. If you don’t see one, add yourself to the waiting list. If a cancellation becomes available, you may be contacted before the next booking release. Joining the waiting list does not guarantee an appointment.

Once you become an established client, you can prebook future appointments directly with me or continue booking through the site if you prefer.

Appointments are always subject to availability, so prebooking is highly recommended.

Summer came and went!!☀️💕

A little reminder that there’s life away from the chair too. 🥹

This summer was FULL. Six birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, family time, date nights, outings…and somewhere in between all of that, I still had a business to run and clients to take care of. 😂

Work-life balance doesn’t always mean everything is perfectly balanced. Sometimes it simply means being intentional about making room for the people, moments and memories that matter while still handling business.

I spend so much of my life behind the chair pouring into others, so I’m learning to make sure I leave a little room to pour back into myself too. 🤎

I worked. I celebrated. I showed up. I rested when I could. And most importantly, I made memories.

I’ll pop out and show life …away from the chair. ✨

That little throwback is the last time we gave her a MAJOR cut and added layers. Fast forward to now and those layers have grown out beautifully while we’ve continued maintaining her ends along the way.⁠
⁠
Because here’s the thing: your hair is growing from the ROOT. The question is… are you retaining what you’re growing?⁠
⁠
Split, thinning and compromised ends don’t need to hang around just so we can say the hair is “long.” And sometimes trimming only the perimeter isn’t enough. I’m checking throughout the hair to remove what needs to go BEFORE it turns into a bigger cut later.⁠

There are extremely talented artists who specialize in creating and perfecting beautiful styles, and they deserve every dollar they charge for their expertise. But every service provider does not offer the same experience, focus or level of hair care.⁠
⁠
A lot of the frustration surrounding the hairstyling industry comes from clients expecting services that a particular professional never claimed to provide. Before becoming upset with the outcome or writing off the entire industry, make sure you have chosen someone whose expertise aligns with your expectations.⁠
⁠
Do your research. Review their work and service descriptions. Book a consultation. Ask questions. Find out whether their priority is creating a specific look, supporting a long term hair care journey or both.⁠
⁠
If you have an event and want a particular style, go to the artist who can execute that look beautifully! If you want someone to review your hair history, address concerns, recommend the right products and create an ongoing regimen, choose a hair care specialist.⁠

Neither choice is wrong. The goal is to make an educated decision about whose chair you are choosing and understand exactly what you are paying for. ✨⁠
