So proud of these guys! Ryan & Ty just finished their BICYCLE RIDE across the US. How amazing?! They are raising money to fund honor flights for veterans 💕 They rode from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. You can still donate! Our boys will remember this weekend for a lifetime. Watching their dad & so many other strong men and women rise up to such a challenge was so inspiring. They loved cheering them all on and closely watched @eric_harri5 @ben_goins @darby_hopper1 @aar0ndana @hollismtuttle @ngarmstrong @mikebellini7 @mike1971craven @chadwright278 and so many others push themselves to reach personal goals. They listened and watched runners reflect on their race journey and talk about what worked for them and what they will do different next time.

They watched crew teams @jeff4ester @timdouglasinspires @blakewright37 @quiltsthatcount supporting runners, and those who had timed out stay to encourage and crew others who were still competing.

When the race was over @chadwright278 talked about how we all have the ability to push ourselves to the finish, and how much power there is in the spoken word. He said he was in so much physical pain it could make you cry, but he refused to speak a word of it while he was competing. Beckhem’s face lit up listening to him talk about controlling his thoughts and tongue, and I realized how important this experience was for the children watching.
Thanks to everyone at the @midstatemile for giving them a chance to learn from you!
These boys can’t wait to use what they learned to compete in their own race, but @eric_harri5 and I know this experience has inspired them in ways we never could have without y’all. 🙏🏻
