last year this time something really cool happened. I got to premier the Digitone II. Lots of hard work went into these tracks and shooting the video. Even though the Elektron fandom weren't big fans of my fat queer vibes (comments went wild lmao) I'm still pretty proud of this ✨🔮🎛️🐍 by @_hissquiet_

For my set organized by @your_fels where folks could just lay down and listen. I tried to think of part of my set as "noise music to nap to" is that just lowercase?

This full set is now up on the horizontal video site. Audio is mixed with direct audio as well as room audio of my quad set taken by @nxor.bos

People always say I don't release enough music but I'm always posting full sets over there, most times with good audio so go check it out!

Digitone II is here! I got to spend a few months with this beast already. You might have seen me in the At A Glance video @weareelektron put out today nbd! I always regretted selling the OG and happy to have one again.

I've got a sound pack out if you're grabbing the new one! A little demo video on the horizontal site of it as well. Lots of experimental sounds, sounds I used in my tracks for the video and some extras!

If you've wondered where I've been for the past couple of months, I've been weening off an SSRI and trying to be patient with resurfaced griefs that have been blunted all these years.

Idk if I've come out of hiding just yet tbh. Everything is still very very raw.

I've been finding that radical hope is no longer serving me. It causes me too much suffering and I'm trying to discover who I am without that.

and for my biggest act of love
I will give up on the world
I will give up on trying to make it better
I will stop trying to rebuild it, to heal it, to save it
I am only human
I will take all that I have given
and replant it in myself

---

If any of this made you mad and you are not coming at me in good faith, leave it out of my comments section and save it for your journal. As always I give you full permission to unfollow/block me, we don't need to be in each others world. Unhealthy infighting is not unique to a niche group with no political power, so please examine your glee at the whole nation, of left and right persuasion, mocking one group for a VERY prevalent phenomenon. I'm not against discussions on how to better facilitate community disagreements but I've also seen people on the left showing their ableism. The takes from people I respect that conflate a very valid issue most groups can have, with maskers being mentally ill, virtue signaling wokescolds is too many to count. Every day I hope that I'm a goddamn fool. by @_hissquiet_

I have a question: Can anyone endure all this? Can you stand by and watch us suffer in silence? Please help us get out of here before it's too late. There's not much time left. The donation link is in the bio. I hope everyone will participate in donating and sharing this post. We need help, even if it's a small amount. It will help me and my family. Being a reason for our survival is better than paying taxes that will kill us.

How long will this continue? Every day entire families are wiped out, erased from the civil registry. We want life, not war. We want to leave here safely. I hope you will help by donating so we can travel and leave before it’s too late. The donation link is in the bio. Share before it’s too late. This might be my last post before my family is wiped out.
