As a former weird Black girl + current weird Black woman - watching @blackforager own her space and voice was heart-filling in a way I didn't know I needed.

While I can't wait to fold pickled magnolia buds + candied wood ears into my work- I'm more excited about what the young Black Women, Aunties, and Grandmothers in the room will do with Alexis's book.

What would #landback look like for urban Black Folks? How might a Black girl's life change if she were given permission to climb trees, hike, touch bugs, and eat flowers?

Congrats Alexis and @bookandsalt on the release of 'Happy Snacking, Don't Die'.

End of Summer Proof of Life 👽✌🏾〰️

Currently reading The Parable of The Talents ( O. Butler) and working through AMC's Interview with A Vampire. Biggest wins of the summer? Unf*cking my room, Juneteenth, and making it through the first family electric slide without tripping over my own two feet.

Happy New Moon in Virgo- what's your favorite office supply/stationary company? I need a giant calendar and comically large push pins.
