Labor Day Weekend in Wisco〰️

Some folks holiday on the beach, others drive several hours to hug lambs in Juda and peep cows in Dodgeville.

Thanks for being down @erindrain, it's been cool to see cheese through your eyes. I can't tell who was more excited about ewes and Pleasant Ridge Reserve.

Wisconsin still thrills. Thanks for having us @marianamarquesdealmeida @uplandscheese and @the_mobile_monger. It was great to see ya @elise_olson84 ✨

Great work friends 〰️ by @_immortalmilk

IInJuly 2026 25 folks from around the country gathered together to discuss life, growth, and their experiences working as Queer Cheese Professionals in America.

Here are a few of their thoughts 〰️

Full responses from July's conversation can be found in my bio. Thank you to everyone that joined + shared at what is proving to be one of my favorite spaces @ ACS.

Are you a guild leader with experience in organizing and grant writing? A community member with time to spare? A monger curious as to what next steps might look like?

Drop a line with your thoughts at @queercheeseguilde- an informal guild for now but perhaps something in the future.

Lets get the ball rolling for 2027✨ by @_immortalmilk

Join host Alisha Norris Jones (@_immortalmilk ) and Anna Patrick (@annapatrick_____ ) for a wide ranging discussion covering identity, competing in @thecheesemongerinvitational as a sober monger, and the mechanics of pairing in a world that tends to favor wine over a cuppa.

Today's hang with @treestobreathe and the gang at @spirittea HQ 〰️

Thanks for having me Jordan. For doing it blind, I think we did a bang up job of pairing.

Pairing based on terrior can be... difficult when it comes to cheese + tea. Instead of matching country- country or climate -climate, we mostly focused on complimentary attributes and texture. Kodama Sencha loves Montgomery's cheddar because of shared grass + sesame notes. Pear Mountain Oolong and L'Amuse Brabander are both soft, floral, and fruity. Sunstone's tannins act as knife through Bleu D' Auv's paste while also unlocking a concord grape note (hitherto unnoticed).

Grayson pairs so well with Yunnan Yellow you'd think Mt. Yunpan was in Galax's backyard.

Today was pretty chill.

Thanks to Alex at @maker_to_monger for being down to clown and suggesting the Pu'erh x JDQ Alpage Gruyere combo. I owe you a gift (it's coming in the mail) and a long, rambling voice note about fermented tea.

Notes for Montgomery's Cheddar and @spirittea 's Kodama Sencha

Happy to report tea guys are silly guys who like dumb things. Like matcha + cheese affogatos.

A recent find in Yunnan->

Does incredible things with gruyere.

The @milkhousecheese Clover + Matcha Affogato was a great idea 💚 by @_immortalmilk
