Process:

For four days, I picked up items I found on a walk with my good friend and his dog (Laurel), regardless of how many objects I picked up, just as interesting and textural items as I could find.

After that, I split them up into bags according to the day. Then, brought the bags to the studio and had four pieces of printing paper for each day. Each of the objects was dipped in paint and thrown onto the paper. Each color coordinates to the date the items were picked up.

I was blindfolded and wearing headphones with no music playing; Then, I layered each day on top of each paper.

Globally, land use is the most important consideration. We are using 2/3 of our land to graze livestock, and more and more is being deforested.

In the Amazon rainforest, 40% of tropical forest loss occurs in Brazil. Brazil is also one of the world’s largest beef producers. by @_huntercurrie

Some work from last quarter. I took a human image class which focused on the human figure as a subject. exploring realistic skin tones and anatomy. While also taking concepts and strategies to help better develop ideas and practice. I explored themes of moments that hold emotional weight or value, the emotion I focused on was contentment.
