A year ago I couldn’t have mapped this out. Still standing, still thankful. 🤍

“Any faith that makes God solely responsible for the outcome of your life is irresponsible faith”

——
Maybe the life I prayed for is closer than I think.

And maybe this season is teaching me how to be ready for it. 🤍

I’ve spent over 4 years in corporate to notice something.

Some of the most gifted people I’ve worked with also profess to be Christians.

They’re excellent at their jobs.
They’re knowledgeable.
They’re hardworking.

But somewhere along the way, character gets left behind.

They speak harshly to colleagues.
Go incommunicado without explanation.
Disrespect managers.
Ignore feedback.
Break trust with the people they work with.

Then they’ll quote Scripture, or boldly declare their faith.

It made me ask myself a question:

What if the greatest test of our Christianity isn’t how we worship on Sunday, but how we treat people on Monday?

Our colleagues may never step into our church, but they’ll experience our patience.

Our integrity.
Our humility.
Our honesty.
Our willingness to take responsibility when we’re wrong.

As Christians, our faith shouldn’t stop at our email signature or the “God bless you” at the end of a call.

It should be evident in the way we work and the way we treat people.

Dear Christian in corporate, your loudest testimony at work isn’t your words. It’s your character.

What are your thoughts?

Here’s the thing about obedience: it is easiest to call yourself obedient when the instruction agrees with your preferences.

Anyone can obey when it is convenient. When it feels rewarding. When it aligns with desire. But the true test of obedience often begins where comfort ends.

We often grade ourselves based on the “milk” instructions. The simple things. The things that still leave room for our flesh to breathe comfortably. But solid food? That is where obedience becomes costly.

Because sometimes God’s instruction will confront your pride. Sometimes it will involve forgiving someone you would rather avoid. Serving behind the scenes when you want recognition. Staying when you want to leave. Leaving when you desperately want to stay.

And that tension reveals something important: obedience is not proven by how we respond to instructions we like. It is revealed by how we respond when God’s will clashes with our own.

The flesh is cooperative until sacrifice enters the room.

What is this I hear?
Is it actually true?

I heard you’ve been fighting battles on the inside. And there’s a voice that keeps whispering things like:

1. You’re too dirty for God to come close. Salvation is not for people like you.
2. You’re on your own. God doesn’t really care.
3. You’re incapable of being loved properly.
4. You’re +1 again and still stuck. No progress. No achievements.
5. There’s no point fighting. You already lost this one.
6. Everyone else is winning while you’re doomed to live in their shadow.

And you believe it!!! 😲

If you’ve struggled for years to give that voice a solid comeback, I gat you.
Here it is:
IT’S A DIRTY LIE. Yep. That’s the response.

Ps. 89:20–24 MSG
I found David, my servant, poured holy oil on his head,

And I’ll keep my hand steadily on him, yes, I’ll stick with him through thick and thin.
No enemy will get the best of him, no scoundrel will do him in.

I’ll weed out all who oppose him, I’ll clean out all who hate him.

I’m with him for good and I’ll love him forever; I’ve set him on high—he’s riding high!

So when that ugly thing called Satan starts talking to you with his foul breath, shut his big mouth up.

God loves you. ❤️

You can’t control everything.
But you can control your walk with God, your boundaries, your focus, and your response.

This year, we’re rooted.
God first. His approval over applause.
No people-pleasing. No stressing what’s not ours to carry.

We rest when we need to. No guilt.
We protect our peace.
And anyone confusing access with entitlement? Declined.

Focus on what’s in your hands.
Leave the rest with God.

The danger for driven people is rarely laziness. It’s displacement. Achievement slowly starts sitting on the throne only God should occupy.

What begins as ambition can quietly become identity.

And the tricky part is that these things are not bad things:
education,
career,
marriage,
children,
impact,
success.

But when every fulfilled desire immediately gives birth to another thing we must conquer before we can rest, it reveals something deeper. The soul was never designed to be satisfied by milestones.

That’s why The Holy Bible says in Matthew 6:33 to seek first the Kingdom. Not because goals are evil, but because without proper order, goals become masters.

The verse almost feels like a warning to highly driven people:
“Do not spend your whole life chasing additions while neglecting the Source.”

And that’s what makes Idols such an important reflection. Idols are not always statues. Sometimes they’re ambitions dressed as purpose. Sometimes they’re dreams we secretly believe will finally make us enough.

OCTOBER. Pretty packed month. Was out and about😅

Started off with me anchoring an event impromptu and on my birthday too (October 1st)

Spent most of my time this month in church. We had a huge concert — 2 vigils and many back to back rehearsals.

Not many videos made but overall, October was my kind of month❤️

Number 3 was a hard lesson for me. I had fallen ill twice in 2 months.

Which of them can you relate to? Or what’s your own lesson?

Note: The caption is more important than the beauty.

I’d like to know: When does correction become condemnation? When does truth begin to sound like an attack on another person’s personality? When does a simple act of correction done in love begin to sound like shaming? When truly do we say we have crossed the line? When exactly does our telling the truth become us being judgmental?

I’ll be in the comments. Let’s talk.

Ps: I made a video concerning this but I’m still too shy to post it. Maybe one day🥲

Second Quarter:

I choose to be seen.
I choose to step beyond fear and dare the unknown
I choose to explore my gifts and not let them waste
I choose to not overthink posts and just post anyway! 🙂
I choose to make an effort, to live accountably, to walk in purpose—for God, for growth, for me.

Happy new month🎉
