ICYOLA | ICYONY !

For the very first time, the Inner City Youth Orchestra of New York (ICYONY) and the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (ICYOLA) will share the stage together in New York City as part of the “I Too Sing America” Tour.

Under the visionary leadership of Chuck Dickerson, these two tuition-free orchestras have become spaces where excellence, opportunity, and community thrive. Without his unwavering dedication and belief in the potential of young people, neither of these programs would exist as they do today.

We are incredibly honored to welcome our ICYOLA family to New York as our two orchestras perform together for the very first time.

We are thrilled to welcome pianist Quentin Derac as our featured soloist for ICYONY’s Summer Fest Concert on Saturday, July 25!

A Los Angeles native with more than 17 years of classical piano experience, Quentin is currently studying at Howard University under Dr. Natalia Kazaryan. His artistry extends beyond the concert stage into music production and engineering, blending tradition with creativity in a truly unique way.

As a proud Haitian and Mexican-American artist, Quentin continues to explore and express his musical voice through every performance, and we are honored to have him join the ICYONY family for this special concert.

We can’t wait to share this incredible afternoon of music with you!
