“I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” ~ L.M. Montgomery

🍂🧸🤎🕯️🍁
Some moments captured from my many autumnal walks this October!

I am in absolute shock at that ending!! Genuinely scared and terrified for book 4.

That was the most chaotic ending and Tahereh wrote it so well. Nobody was acting normal and the fact that no else knew there was an explosion just put me more on edge.

James cut not healing, the baby being born before the explosion, Winston missing, Nazeera forgetting, Hugo’s arm. The confusion, frustration and chaos literally had me thinking one thing which was the Ark had got to them.

September wrap up 🍁🍂🧸

Hey lovelies, hope everyone is well and has had a great start to the month. September was an exciting month, starting with meeting one of my favourite authors to launching my small business Alhumdulilah!!

I started and finished Catherine Cowels “Lost & Found” series, she honestly the only authors books I’ve enjoyed a lot this year with the murder mystery/ suspense element to it. Book 5 was my absolute fav and I can’t wait to go back to her Starlight Grove series next month ⛰️💫

I also started reading Escape Me and I am so hooked, so I’m savouring every moment of book 3 🤭 also the cover is STUNNING!! I ordered my US edition but it came damaged, honestly so gutted 😣 but hope to get a new one soon In’Sha’Allah

Hope October is great to all of you lovelies!

✨New month = New opportunities✨

Hey lovelies, hope everyone is doing well. Last week I shared an exciting announcement and I’m so happy to share with you all this year’s autumn collection. For those of you who have been here from the start, you’ll have remembered that I did this last year as a one timer for autumn but this year Alhumdulilah I’ve had the opportunity to expand further. In’Sha’Allah I will be setting up my Etsy shop that way it would make shipping much more easier, however if you are still comfortable with placing order through dm you are more than welcome too.

I would like to announce the official business name @thesagechapter.co I have been working on this project all summer and Alhumdulilah I’m so happy to share it with everyone!!

Since last years collection received a lot of love those designs will also be brought back and available alongside this years collection otherwise known as the “Cosy Collection”. With these bookmarks I also have a few other products that will be posted shortly too and I can’t wait for everyone to see it 🤭

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your kind messages last week 🤭

Your support means a lot and I truly appreciate it 🥹💞

Heyy lovelies, hope everyone’s been doing well. I have been meaning to post this but I kept on forgetting 🙈 earlier this month I got to meet THE autumn woods and it was the best night ever!!

A special shoutout to @taliahibbert asking all the questions we’ve been wanting to know 🤭 made the night even more special 💫

I of course couldn’t forget to bring my signature book and it was real fun designing the page.

⭐️ End of August ⭐️

Happy Monday lovelies, hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying their weekend. Summer is coming to end and I hope everyone had a good one. August was another month of going to beaches and hiking again. Got to see the most prettiest views Subhanallah and just sit by the cliffs taking the moment in (best feeling). As for reading I have spent the last few days of August catching up on Release Me and I can’t wait for book 3 🤭

Alhumdulilah summer has been a good one which I am grateful for. From trying new things and appreciating the small moments has made this summer the best!!

Tried matcha for the first time, 2/5. Since it was my first time I asked at the cafe which they’d recommend and it was a strawberry matcha, the first sip was okay considering I just tasted strawberry but the bitterness kicked in later and it was horrible 😭 but shout out to the lady who was so sweet because she was explaining all the different types and their benefits bless her.

Summer Diaries 🌼🐚🌊🌴🍋

Hey lovelies, hope everyone is well. This summer I went to Portugal with my family and it was such a great trip. I also did a weekend getaway to West Sussex where I got to hike Seven Sisters.

I thought I’d create a little summer diaries highlighting some bits of my summer. I had so much fun creating this post. Something different to my usual style but it was so fun exploring different features 🤭

#summer #portugal #travel #explore #books

Day 1 spent it at the LX Factory and it was so much fun seeing all the independent businesses. I even went back to buy some artwork!!

Not much books read this summer but I did read ‘n Stormy Weather’ and I couldn’t stop smiling so much. I was HOOKED!!

The beaches in Portugal are so beautiful. Got to collect some seashells too and they’re stunning 🐚🌼

Portugal just brought back my love for apple juice.

🌊🏖️🐚☀️🌴

I can’t go to another country without visiting a bookshop. The books though were huge compared to UK standard editions

⛵️🌉🌴☀️🌊

Hiked down to the most stunning beach!

All I’m gonna say that if there’s something you’ve been wanting to do just go for it and for my hijabi girls remember that your hijab doesn’t stop you from doing anything. You can do it all so long as you have belief in yourself & tawakul in Allah swt. by @_ifrahreads

Daybreak by @autumnwoods.author

Happy Tuesday lovelies. Hope everyone is doing well. This has been the longest I’ve been away from social media but it was a well needed break. Glad that my first post back is one of my top fav reads. I went away to Portugal so I’m excited to share about my travels. Now onto my review for the best read!!

When I recieved the email that I got selected for the e-arc I was in complete and utter shock, but it was the best surprise ever!!! Thank you so much @panmacmillan and @autumnwoods.author for the arc in exchange for an honest review. Appreciate it.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this review because WOW!
Nightshade’s ending left me broken that I was desparate for book two and Autumn you did not miss. Book one had me hooked from the start but Daybreak was just amazing.
The mystery and suspense just got better and if you know me you know I LIVE for that!!

I loved the opening of the book so much. Starting with an anonymous POV really set the mood for this book and quite literally had me hooked from the very begining and finishing the book in two days.

I just wanted one thing for Book two and that was for Alex and Ophelia to finally be happy and after a long wait I’m so glad they finally got their happily ever after. The epilogue was just proof that they desreve all the happiness in the world after the events of Nighshade’s ending. From losing hope to shattered hearts Autumn embodied the hope that healing isn’t alwasy linear and that you can overcome your struggless and grow which we see through Alex and Ophelia towards the end of the duet.

(Review continue on next slide)

#arcreview #daybreakautumnwoods #sorrowsonguniversity #books #explorepage

The healing journey and character growth was beautifully written!

Ophelia, I am so proud and happy for her for finally being able to trust others and find the love she truly desrves after all the chaos she went through in Book one to the continuous tourture in book two. But to finally see her grow out of her shell and face her fears just shows you the kind of fearless woman she is. Now what I loved as well about the book was having a dual POV and getting to things from A by @_ifrahreads

April wrap up + photo dump 🌷🍓🍵💫

Happy Friday lovelies, hope everyone is well. April by far was such a fun month. I received my first EVER book mail from a publisher which truly made my day 🥹 and I feel like this was the first time in a long time where I actually enjoyed reading 🤭 I started reading Catherine cowels books and they’re so good!! You know I love a good suspense and Catherine masters it with each book. I started her new series starlight grove after seeing so many amazing reviews and it’s such a good book!! I’m so excited for book 2.

I also started reading release me but I don’t want to finish it, I’m trying to savour every moment 😭 but I’m also excited that we’ll be getting book 3 this year too!!

Reading aside April was another month spent baking, going on walks and spotting the beautiful blossom trees 🌸

✨ New month = New opportunities ✨

King of Gluttony 🧡🍓🍫🌼💫

Hey lovelies, hope everyone is well. Yesterday I collected my copy for KOG and it looks so beautiful next to the rest of the books. I spent yesterday baking this beautiful chocolate cake (spoiler if you haven’t read it yet) but it’s Maya’s favourite and it was real fun baking this and I just love how beautiful the end result was 🤭

Back in March I received an email from @teamanahuang saying I got selected for the arc and I was in shock. 2022 me would not believe that I got selected 😭 but nevertheless I am so grateful!

What I love about Ana’s works and always will is the diversity with each character she writes. As a person she truly takes the time to understand another culture and beautifully integrates it into her writing! 🧡

This book was simply beautiful! The banter, the chemistry and the yearning!!! URGH I LOVED every second of it. Maya and Sebastian are so cute they have my heart. And I just loved going back to this series, the cameos throughout the books had me smiling so much and let’s not forget Maya’s Nani, girly had me laughing so much 😭

Once again thank you @authoranahuang and @teamanahuang for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review!

Thank you so much @electricmonkeybooks for the book mail 🩵🌸💫

I’m honestly still in shock that I received a book mail from a publishing company 😭 when I saw the package I was confused because I knew I hadn’t ordered anything but this was the most beautiful surprise ever. Also the cover is absolutely stunning and it just looks so beautiful when the sun shines on the cover 🩵💫

@tahereh shatter me series were the books that made me fall back in love with reading and to recieve this book mail means a lot 🤭🩵 so thank you again @electricmonkeybooks

Yesterday I went to the works to get my copy of Release me and it is so beautiful 🤭 @tahereh and her team never miss with delivering beautiful covers!!

I recently picked up a new book by Catherine Cowles, Across the vanishing sky and I loved it so much 🤭 if you know me you know I love suspenseful books so this book met my expectations and I can’t wait to read more of Catherine’s book!
