I LEFT MONATIONS FEELING SO MUCH CONFIRMATION THAT I HAD FOUND ANOTHER PART OF MY TRIBE. ... Here's why ..

1. Community means EVERYTHING.
God never intended us to do life alone, and for a long time the hair industry left me feeling alone because I was thirsty for more but by myself in that , around me . Being surrounded by people who encourage you, believe in you and genuinely want to see you grow reminded me how important community really is.
2. There is SO much opportunity here, it's mind blowing tbh !! Opportunity still requires stewardship. I can pray for God to open doors, but I also have to be willing to walk through them, work, learn and use what He’s put in my hands.
3. This company actually pours into its people and that's the pushiest part IS LEADING, GIVING , SUPPORTING. I get emotional 🥹
The education, support, recognition and opportunities made me realize I’m part of something that wants to see people grow, not just sell shampoo.
4. The products are made to PERFORM.
As a hairstylist of 26 years, performance matters to me. I love learning more about the intention behind the formulas, innovation and sustainability while being able to offer my clients something I genuinely believe in vs something I can make a quick mark up from salon centric or cosmo prof
5. I’m allowed to dream BIG while still surrendering the outcome to God. ✨🙏🏼This was probably my biggest takeaway.

I can have goals.
I can build.
I can work hard.
I can dream ridiculously big.

But I don’t have to manufacture the outcome, for me That's His Job , AMEN .

My job is obedience, stewardship and showing up for what God has placed in front of me. The increase belongs to Him.

I came for the hair.

I left MONATions even more excited about community, purpose, possibility and what God might do with something I originally thought was just another stream of income.

And I’m only 5 months in. 🤍

Dream big. Steward it well. Stay obedient. Let God handle the increase. ✨ I'm so excited to continue to learn the business to a T and help other women build financial flexibility into their lives. I just crave to be helpful ✨♥️

If you’ve been here for a while, you know I’ve never been interested in selling products just to make a sale.

I’ve spent years behind the chair trying to help clients solve problems that couldn’t be fixed in a single appointment. Breakage. Thinning. Dryness. Hair that never seemed to get where they wanted it to be.

The truth is, what happens at home matters just as much as what happens in my chair. I can add hair with various methods and techniques but my goal isn't to keep you a slave to them. To have you coming back with compromised bio hair that I won't be able to attach extensions too possibly, and or further assist you in breaking down your scalp health by NOT offering you home haircare that is performing FOR YOU . I considered that a disservice to you and to my calling .

2018 Moved to Ventura to build my clientele AGAIN.
2020 Covid hit, lost it all , again
2021 Started AGAIN with NOTHING after covid
Fwd to 2026 I co own a salon , my clientele is a blessing , I've added new services and ready to add mesh integration aswell.

GLORY BE TO GOD. Not without blood sweat and tears, a lot of both but led by Him , I'm literally living a blessing that I don't take for granted.
I'm honored that new clients choose me over and over again, I'm humbled to be able to connect + trusted with not only your hair but your emotions while you sit with me, your conversations, your family stories , your goals, and your losses. 😫 GOODNESS. YOU THINK ITS ABOUT THE SUDS 🥴

Some of y’all are spending HUNDREDS on your hair and then using shampoo simply to make it less greasy.

THAT’S WHERE WE’RE GETTING IT WRONG.

Your shampoo isn’t just supposed to WASH your hair. It’s supposed to PERFORM.

You’ve got product buildup, conditioning agents and potentially layers of silicone sitting on your strands, and you’re wondering why your hair won’t cooperate?!

Your curls won’t hold.
Your blowout falls flat.
Your roots feel heavy.
Your hair doesn’t have the movement it should.

And sometimes the problem isn’t your hair at all. IT’S WHAT YOU’RE USING ON IT. I CAN FEEL IT, see it in your photos even.

Now, not every silicone is bad, and not every shampoo causes buildup. But if your shampoo isn’t effectively removing what’s accumulating on your hair and scalp, you’re working against yourself.

I NEED Y’ALL TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING.

I don’t recommend MONAT because I suddenly decided to sell shampoo.

I recommend it because I’ve spent YEARS using every product out there and THIS PRODUCT, actually OUT performs THE credit you're currently giving five star reviews on amazon .

When you dm me for a Cart , this is why I’m intentional about your routines. I'm not just throwing shampoo in a cart.

MY ONLY REGRET WITH MONAT?

Actually, I take that back.

I DON’T REGRET A THING.

Did I start messy? YEP.
Did I understand the compensation plan? NOPE.
Did I know my way around my back office? BARELY.
Did I take full advantage of my Power Start? NO.
Did I understand the Power of Two? NOT REALLY.

BUT I STARTED & THANK THE LORD I DID.

Because somewhere between falling in love with the products, sharing them with my clients, building relationships, and watching those first paychecks come in, something CLICKED.

WAIT A MINUTE. 😂

I’m actually making money doing this.
I’m seeing results.
I’m seeing the community, the support, and the BUSINESS opportunity I almost overlooked.

AND NOW I’M HOOKED.
NOW I’m learning the compensation plan.
NOW I’m figuring out my back office.
NOW I’m understanding the advantages.
NOW I’m intentionally building a team.
NOW I want to help other women see what I almost missed!

You guys I’ve spent 26 YEARS behind the chair building a career I LOVE, a couple times over tbh. I’m a wife, a mama, a business owner, and a woman with a whole lot of faith in what God can do with a willing heart.

You’d THINK I’d know better than to treat a business like a hobby. 🙄

Like everything I do , I DIDN’T HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING TO GET STARTED.

I just had to START.

And now I’m learning, earning, growing, helping, and having a REALLY GOOD TIME doing it.

I’m not promising overnight success. I’m not saying it’s easy. But I AM saying you don’t have to have every little thing figured out before you begin.

START MESSY.
LEARN AS YOU GO.
AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE, TAKE YOURSELF SERIOUSLY ENOUGH TO KEEP GROWING.

I’m SO grateful I said yes when I did.

And NOW?!

I’M ALL IN.
I’M THRILLED.

AND I’M PROBABLY NEVER GONNA SHUT UP ABOUT IT. 💅🏼

WE DID NOT BECOME MOMS so we can simply spend their childhoods at work . did we? I'm not settling for that . Monat quite literally is showing me I don't HAVE TO .

After 26 years behind the chair, I still LOVE my career. I’m not looking for a way out. I’m looking for ways to build on what I’ve already created without every additional dollar requiring another hour away from my family.

Literally adding monat to business is just that.

After becoming a market partner and experiencing the community, the relationships and the heart behind this company, I started realizing , this could help soooooo many of us !!

The exhausted moms.
The stylists who’ve maxed out their hours.
The women rebuilding their lives.
The women who’ve spent YEARS pouring into everybody else.

I KNOW THOSE WOMEN BECAUSE I’VE BEEN THOSE WOMEN.

Shoot, I’m still one of those women . I'm still building and growing but GROW WITH ME!

I don’t have unlimited energy, but I serve a God whose capacity isn’t limited to mine.

I’m building because I see an opportunity for my family AND other women who want more choices for theirs.

I’m not here to convince everybody because I don't want to work with just anyone tbh & it isn't FOR everyone .

The impact you made in my life without even realizing it in the beginning was monumental. You literally played a role in saving my life and here I am years later saying good bye to yours . Gods will and plan is so much bigger than ours and I don't understand always Mariah, and you always reassured that's how faith worked . We grew so close in His word together and in prayer together I know you're looking down at all of us with that beautiful smile and that contagious laugh ♥️ You're at rest , you're home. You're where every follower of Christ hopes to be when their time comes. Selfishly I just wish it wasn't this soon . You'll be missed and always remembered. Imagine that 😂 He gave me the tools, the talent, the career, the clients and the ability to build something with my own two hands.

I use the tools. I do the work. I show up.
And HE shapes my life.

I don’t have to control every damn detail, force every opportunity, manufacture every outcome or know what’s coming next.

Sounds easy lol. It’s not. 😂

But it DOES get easier once you actually learn to rely on Him. Obedience becomes less difficult when you’ve watched God show you enough times that His way was better than whatever you were trying to force anyway.

Even in my career.... I can work hard, keep learning, serve my clients, steward what He gave me and then… leave the increase to Him.

What a concept 😂🙏🏼
