Moonrise by @_informell

Keel laid by a drunkard, nothing's built like it should, but even utterly crippled this battleship I command a looming presence still.
Never spent enough time in the harbour, field repair after field repair, do what needs to be done too keep pushing what's broken just that little longer, improvise to keep some vital function going, self-cannibalising to an art form.
Hull bending and leaking, moaning and shrieking, flooding and listing, still breaking wave after wave, as something gets repaired something else breaks but the fight must go on.
Even calm days of no leisure as we need to do right what went wrong.
Electronics broken, cables are freyed. Well arrive delayed but still working. by @_informell
