Pave Serenity Ring. Designer Jen Insardi fabricated the piece by hand-carving the wax herself. By doing so, she has the ability to perfect each curve which then allows the design to infuse visual movement in each intricate facet of the ring. The ring has an 18kt yellow gold high-polished finish and features 1.6 carats of white diamonds.

In 1978, at the peak of her fame, legendary Italian music icon Mina completely withdrew from the public eye and stopped doing television appearances, live concerts, and press interviews. But she didn't stop creating. Instead, she became an industry pioneer. Decades before the modern indie music movement, Mina bypassed traditional music system by recording and releasing music exclusively on her terms through her independent record label, PDU.

With her physical self hidden from the world, her album covers became her only visual connection to the public—and she turned them into profound, avant-garde art. This striking, surreal image is the official artwork for her 1984 double album, Catene ("Chains"), shot by her lifelong visual collaborator Mauro Balletti. By using a split-mirror technique, they decoupled Mina the human woman from Mina the cultural projection.
