It’s coming up to 1 year since uploading anything on here and the same since I’ve picked up my camera. If you’d of said that would be the case even 2 years ago, I’d of laughed. Life’s happened and I’m so grateful for it, but the itch to get back out exploring is well and truly back.

Early morning light casting over Stokksnes⛰️. Even if me and @nomadic.sam got stuck here for like 2hours, it gave us the perfect opportunity to take a way slower approach than what we’d set ourselves the days previously. Unfortunately we didn’t really get that glowing sky you always seem to see on here, however, as the sun rose higher it produced some really nice shadows. Of which, I wasn’t a fan of at first but they’re definitely starting to grow on me.

P.S sorry for being super absent on here recently. Like every year around this time, any motivation for anything photography related takes a back seat, that includes Instagram. I’m genuinely curious how so many of you on here continue to keep that motivation and would love to hear about it below⬇️.

Twenty frames to show you why Europe has the best greens🥬. Over the past 4 or so years I’ve visited some of the most mind blowing places, 100% of them being in Europe. Only being a matter of hours in the car/on a plane away makes you realise how lucky we are. On one of our final days we made the drive from the highlands down to Hvalnes. Nothing could have prepared me from the wind that we faced whilst here, so much so that we tried a second time. After spending a week travelling on the nc500, on our final evening we decided to park up in Glencoe. With little to no hope for any decent light after the week we had, our face was a picture as Scotland put one last show on for us. If you told me before flying to Iceland I’d witness an Arctic fox purely in the wild, I’d say you were having me on. Literally within the first 48hours, in the most random of car parks, this little fella plodded along in front of us. When I tell you me and @nomadic.sam lost our minds, we really did.

We had roughly 15-20minutes with him, before he walked to the edge of the cliff and went into his burrow. It wasn’t until we got speaking to an Icelandic local that we realised just how lucky we was.

This has always been a bucket list shot for me and I feel incredibly privileged to of witnessed it.

Woke up to an unforgettable morning at The Needle, wrapping up a week-long journey along the NC500 on the Isle of Skye. Slow mornings spent exploring Val di Funes🏔️. After the most ridiculous sunrise I have ever witnessed the morning before, I had every limb crossed that we would luck out twice. Nothing could have prepared me for the 20minute downpour we experienced, ever the optimist we stuck it out, which I’m so glad we did. A return trip to the dolomites is almost certainly on the cards🫶🏻 taken in Dolomites UNESCO by @_inthehills

Mirror like reflections at the iconic Kirkjufell⛰️. This was one of the only evenings we had during the whole week that the sky wasn’t overcast. After a brutal few hours of travelling and finally arriving in Iceland, these conditions were definitely more than appreciated taken in Iceland by @_inthehills

Driving through the highlands and finally reaching the blood craters🌋. This place blew every single expectation out of the water, saying that Iceland did in general.

One of the craziest places I’ve ever visited, and probably ever will. Waking up at the crack of dawn and ticking off as many places off the list was everything I could have dreamed for, and more.

For as long as I can remember, this has been a dream photo for me. What I couldn’t have prepared myself for was the scale of this place🤯. Let me know what you think⬇️
