New Cecile Bags are now available online. 🌷🌸

These beautiful dead stock satins were both previously curtains. The trailing floral pattern is woven into the fabric. Available in midnight blue and dusky pink. I think I have enough fabric to make 4 of each colour option. So there will be a very limited run of these bags.

The inside of the bag is fully lined with natural 100% cotton calico and has two handy pockets to store belongings safely.

After a much needed family break to Cornwall I’ve returned to my studio, and back to my sewing machine. A lovely break visiting family was just what we needed 💕

Back in the studio, I’ve been keeping busy with some Cecile Bag orders. So I thought this week would be the perfect time to launch them on my website. They will be online this Sunday, I will share more information soon about the new bags ✨

There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t wear one of my Cecile Bags. So easy and convenient to wear with any outfit and while carrying a little one 🥰

Iris Jean will be popping up at Sefton Park Palm House this Sunday 23rd August 10:30am - 6pm 🪴 @popuppalmhouse

I will be selling a range of my handmade items including bags, hair accessories & clothing. 💕

I will also be taking pre orders for items as a lot of my clothing is often only avail in specific fabrics for 1 item. Which means you could own a truly one of a kind piece 💖

August has already been a lovely busy month & there is still so much more to come 🌻

I have really loved making the Cecile bags in different fabrics for my first market in a couple of weeks with @popuppalmhouse 🪴

I will be taking photographs of the Cecile bag made in different fabrics so I can also sell them on my website 💙

Spending lots more time as a family doing cute little things 🌻

Having weekends together as a family again after over a year of working Saturdays 🚲 so lovely to not have to worry about time as much 🥰

Picking our own wild flowers from the local farm shop 💐

Testing out the mocha at a new coffee shop, can confirm it is a very good one! ☕️ 🍫

Wearing my own handmade clothes on little ventures out 🍓

The Orla Dress is flowy & fun. The combination of floral with stripes works so well with the oversized collar, statement puff sleeves and pretty little frills.

I love creating new pieces and this dress was heavily influenced by the fabric. It just made sense as soon as I began creating it. 🌷

& the finishing touch… of course it has pockets! 🤍

Its hard to believe Iris will be 2 soon. I remember walking down this path during my last few weeks of pregnancy wondering who we were going to be meeting.

Raspberry picking at our local farm shop 💕

Iris’ absolute favourite fruit. You can see her eating one sneakily right at the end. 🫣

The perfect weather to wear the Amelia Blouse. Here the blouse has a cropped sleeve length and a higher neckline with ties. All of my items are customisable to suit your preferences ✨

You can also see me wearing my Cecile crescent bag with adjustable length ruffle strap which I use pretty much every day! Teamed with a white scrunchie which is absolutely essential in this heat! 💖 by @_iris_jean_

I’ve just took part in a week-long Instagram challenge and these are the things I learnt I never expected…

💕People really do resonate more with showing myself and not just my products.

🎥 Reels are not as scary as I thought they were. Making reels get a lot of engagement and really seem to catch people attention.

💖I’ve gained 119 followers in the last month. 26 of them being from this week. To me this feels amazing & its so lovely to slowly build a following I hope will engage in my work and processes.

✨I don’t think I share enough behind the scenes or personal life. These are definitely areas I want to work on without feeling I have shared too much.

This is 4 days late but I was determined to post the last day of @businesssecretsclub #thesummerreset2026 & I’m proud of myself for seeing it through. taken in Appley Bridge by @_iris_jean_

Can anybody else relate. 🧵 🪡 Sometimes the only time I get to myself is when I’m working. Its amazing being a Mum, but its also amazing being able to put on a podcast and just sew without any interruptions.

Welcome to my home studio/growing fabric room! I have now successfully taken over the spare room , dining room & under stairs cupboard! This is not all of my fabric, just a section I already had videoed 🫣
