Also bc we're all united in our disdain for the Argentinian team, right? 😅

Lastly, I'm now a liar bc I said I wouldn't dare post this. 🥲

Fine. We'll be your favorite, fun gay aunties.
We will both get you into and out of trouble. I'll talk to your mom for you.

We fight about not having enough cuddles and why I opened my own car door when she was around.
Oops 💋😜

We'll have you over for games and feed you. She makes a mean French Toast.

We'll help you save animals (add dog, duck, and rat to our repertoire) and donate to your causes.
We'll support your art and cheer you (or your kids) on.

We'll even help you with your house and car projects. Because we have the queer audacity to think (know) we can do it all (We just need to watch a quick YouTube video first. Probably).

Never been to a protest? We'll take you!

It's gonna be a great time! 😆

38 feels pretty great.

The beauty, the inspiration, the anger and rage available for me to harness and transform into action and love.
The experience, the acceptance, the depth of joy.
The increasing wisdom that allows you to receive and let go in a smoother flow that feels more familiar, more wholesome, more true.

A renewed recognition of self trust and a community that stands beside me with such a strength and power and softness that holds me closer than ever before - as long as I let it.

Thank you to everyone who made this birthday extra special.
I love you beyond words.

And, of course, Happy Birthday to my love, Xenia. 🐾 Forever with me in my heart. ❤️

Knowing came gently.
Soft, patient, joyous, wholesome - you wrapped your love around me and everything I am. The warmest embrace. And I just knew.

You choose me everyday.
Courageously, confidently, kindly, securely.
You love me in ways I could've never thought possible and still ask me to dream bigger so you can love me without limits.

I am grateful for you, Morgan.
And overjoyed to be let in in kind.

Thanks for waving at me ❤️

Being an Immigrant is my superpower. 💪🏽🇲🇽
Truly.
I am rich with community.
I am rich with cultura.
I am rich with my ancestors' wisdom, compassion, and poder. It runs through my veins.
I am rich with joy. So much joy.
I am rich with ability.
I am rich with amor.

All Immigrants are. This is why they fear us.
We are powerful. We are dynamic. We are beauty. We are kindness and empathy. We are expansive. We are damn resilient. We are a love that they will never understand. We are revolutionary.
We are not going anywhere.

And yes - Because I have the best superpower - I *am* taking their jobs.
